Interesting.. how does it compare with Passport? What's the difference besides form factor?
My general observation - WD Element is usually cheaper than its Passport counterpart. I don't know the reason though.
I think it's something to do with the encrypted security that comes with the hard drive.
The Passport is nicer looking…..

The Elements line doesn't have the difficult/impossible to remove "SmartWare" that the My Passport line does.
