As a HD-25 Owner, the first thing I done upon seeing these was buy 2. +99999999999!!! What a bargain!
The main reason for the price drop is that these are most likely being replaced by the HD-25 Aluminium editions which are basically going to be an inbetween of the HD-25 and the Amperior.
I bought these when they were dropped to $200 a few weeks ago. Awesome headphones, well worth the $200, so $160 is a steal.
Just bought a pair, they're quite flat, have punchy bass and are really comfortable with the velour pads. Has anyone found a cheap case for these?
Theres plenty for the HD-25 on ebay. The amperiors are exactly the same size, so the ebay ones should be suitable.
