Yeah I think it was too! Although got the same camera (without the cheap lens) from JBHiFi for $300 (was 15% off or something like that)
Got the same model with 18-55mm IS as well as 55-200mm IS from DSE for $360 in April.
not a bad deal from HN.
And only 2 weeks ago you could have bought a nikon D3200 for $405 from JB.

Don't do it - you can pick up a 600d for $425 from camera pro (was about $405 in the recent jb sale)
It's a much better camera all round and apart from video af is as good as the 700d.
It's worth considering the 60d too - it us being cleared out to make way for the 70d
I've been looking for the 60d. Kicking myself for missing out on the jb sale a few weeks ago. Now the best price I can find is $660 for grey import for body only or $700 for Australian stock.
Get the A57 with twin kit lenses for only $649 local Australian stock. It is a very good camera, specs, features and performance on par with the 7D or better.

I work at a HN store, there was a deal in last week for $348. If you mention that you couldn't make it last week, they can organise a better price.
Which HN are you working at mate? Pretty hard to find a good and easy sales rep in HN.
I swear this single lens kit was cheaper at HN just a few weeks ago? Mind you, I've looked at so many cameras at so many places recently I may be misremembering.

Still, $398 is a decent point to begin bargaining at, especially if you go in knowing there is anything up to $70 extra to save or have accessories thrown in for.
