    1366x768 on a 15"? No thanks!

Price also seems pretty standard. I don't really think this is a bargain, sorry.

Good to see another haswell laptop on the market. Price isn't bad, but not a deal for me.

  • standard price, 1366, not a deal.

  • Any deals for FHD i7 Quad core touch laptops with SSD under $1000? :)

I missed out on the Toshiba Deal -> Toshiba P50T was 20% off.

      Covered everything except SSD

Hopefully the deal comes back soon

      • Thanks mjacd, That was a good deal..Yeah, lets wait for that..

      • It sort of has an ssd. It's a hybrid hdd drive.

I got mine for close to 900 after price match.

        • Price match at officeworks?

How do you like the laptop overall?

        • It's fantastic, great processor, great graphics card (check it out on notebookcheck.com).

Can't say much about the touchscreen though, hardly ever use it but it's really responsive.

It's a pain to replace HDD etc etc (not difficult, just unnecessarily tedious). Only ram is easily upgraded.

Battery life is… normal for a notebook/laptop. This is after all NOT an ultrabook.

          Get it if you can.

        • Thanks for the info.

Will be keeping an eye on prices.

What battery life are you getting for general use?

        • Ranges from 2-4 hours? You'll be needing the charger with you for extended use.

Oh, and the charger is really clunky.

  • Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, not for these specs. Also HP warranty service is awful, if you can avoid it, do so.
