THEN - Once you sign up and log in, the Member Only rate will appear as an option. For hotels that I often stay at, this is a 'BRILLIANT' sale. I cannot recall them ever debiting my credit card for on-line bookings. So I think that it is only to secure the booking. If I am correct, then the final cost in $A will be subject to Exchange rate fluctuations.
