Presented as an alternative to Toshiba L300/OD5(FSB=667) with a better CPU(FSB=800) for similar money.

    Why thank you. My version of window shopping.. or in this case, Internet shopping. This JB deal is pretty good for a 800Mhz FSB T4200-2.0 15.4" for under $900. L300/OD5 has been pretty popular on whirlpool. On spec, this is a better performing unit, so I consider it a better buy than the similar priced 667Mhz FSB Toshiba. Would be interesting to measure the idle current draw on each. The T4200 may even run 25W TDP (no specs on the processor to confirm!).

  Got my acer 5920G 5a2g25bn for the same price from officeworks a couple months back, which has pretty much the same specs except for Core 2 duo T5550 1.83ghz, geforce 8600m gs 256mb, and bluray combo drive. So this is an okay deal if you cant find any better.
