3TB NAS HDD with 802.11n Wireless AP

Got the last one at DSE Bourke St, Melbourne CBD. RRP is around $370.

This item is on clearance so better call for checking the stock as you can't do searching via DSE website.

Last model of the product line, Apple Time Capsule is no longer produced as Apple decided to call it Airport Time Capsule now, with a tower-style model, 3TB with 802.11ac is $449 in Oz Apple Store.

$200 difference to compensate the 802.11ac, hmmm…

      No. I was there yesterday and found this last item. Asking for a discount but no more discount. However last night after doing some price research, I found this is so damn cheap. So this morning I went there again and yes, it's still there.

    FYI: You can use any Linux NAS box as a Time Machine server. People have even used a Raspberry Pi with a USB hard drive.

      I have to say I love the rock soild WIFI from my time capsule as well .. having gone through many ADSL combo routers over the years and other WIFI only routers .. my 2010 Timecapsule set for duel band has never needed a restart or had any IP, signal dropouts, connectivity issues or anything - and I've had many devices on it from Apple to Wii, tablets and phones… and I use my NAS for time capsule backups now too (it has more storage).

    Picked up the last one from Northland, I think. Central Melb all out.There's one 2Tb one left in Wagga Wagga, $149.
