  Cheers, would appreciate the price after discount in title though. Website shows NSW @ $39 before discount, is it the same price in store?

    I don't know about NSW, but in Brisbane it's currently $40 before discount.

  I rather J&B 700ml (usually $35.00+($38 at LL)), currently at $29.70 at DMs.
  40% alcohol against 37% for Canadian Club.

      I never said it was 'the same', obviously not the same!, but just another scotch that IMO is better than Canadian Club for nearly the same price.

  Not a good deal, seeing the range of other comparable choices for around the '$10 off!'discounted price, at both DMs and 1st choice.
  Johnny red, Ballantines, J&B whisky are all just as good if not better, in particular Ballantines IMO.

    Your opinion of the product is irrelevant. $30 is a good price for 700 ml Canadian Club. The cheapest it usually gets is 3 for $90, and that's only every few months.

  If you're lucky you can really start to stack deals to get the most out of a weekly shop.

  I've managed to stack the following for this weekend (16-18th):

  • $30 off using 6000 flybuys points I've built up with surveys, free 500 points on prior ozb deals
  • $10 off LL with the voucher here
  • Triple flybuys points on LL purchases with activation
  • Spend $90 receive 14C off a litre with activation (account specific)
  • 500 bonus flybuys points with coupons I get sent in the mail
  • 100 - 150 bonus points if I buy fruit/other things I need with shop dockets
  • Triple points on fruit/veg with medibank
  • 1000 bonus points for the survey this month after the shop
  • $95 for a $100 Coles gift card with the entertainment book

  It's going to be a good shop.
