These are made in England and are very durable and powerful.

I would recommend the red commercial version as it has slight differences to the others such as a longer cord and wider wheel base and a bumper for dragging around corners etc.

Detailed info on the differences:

Red (commercial version): http://www.thehut.com/household-appliances/numatic-1200w-com…

Yellow: http://www.thehut.com/household-cleaning/numatic-1200w-henry…

From memory shipping was £1.99 but now shows £11.99 (for me), not sure if thats because I have a PO Box as my address now or they changed the shipping rates.

  • Ebay importers push this one for about $350-360.
Good deal - does it come with aussie plugs?

    • +3

No it comes with a UK plug, I bought a HPM plug for $3 and wired it myself. But I would recommend others buy a good quality adaptor due to safety reasons (I don't want anyone blaming me for getting shocked etc).

      Good plug:

      • What makes you say that Korjo plugs are higher quality than average?

        • +2

Because I use them (I have 2) and find them to be very well made compared to $2 ones from eBay. Just a personal preference and recommendation. The fit is very snug both on the socket and plug end unlike cheaper Chinese ones that seem to fall out of both sides easily.

To be honest I haven't used cheap UK to AU plugs but I have used a lot of cheap US to AU and EU to AU plugs before and they are garbage. Since I bought the Korjo adaptors at Dick Smith I threw the cheap ones away.

You may be able to find good quality ones for cheaper but there is nothing else I could recommend as I haven't had the opportunity to use them.

        • Yes the Chinese ones unexpectedly fall out of all forerign holes

        • +1

I've heard that on average they are a little smaller than others

  • Bought one - thanks OP.

    • Could help myself. Also got x 1!!!

  • +1

there is absolutely no way i'm buying a vacuum cleaner with eyes and a mouth on it :)

  • Thanks OP, ordered a couple. Delivery was free.

YELLOW DOES NOT HAVE THIS CODE

    • Red is still in stock for me, I just added another one to my basket (there is 2 in there now).

I'll delete them from my basket incase its tying them up so other people can't buy them.

Yes you are correct, it looks like you can't use that code with the yellow one.

edit: I just deleted them from my cart then went back to the item page and it shows sold out for me now too.

  • Red no stock, yellow code doesn't work, £11.99 delivery.

    • Thats odd, yellow shows £0.00 delivery for me and the red was £11.99 delivery before it ran out.

      • Not sure:
        Items (1)£109.99
        Delivery£11.99

        To QLD

  • Do these come with bags or do we need to buy them?

    • +2

It comes with 1 bag, I bought 20 genuine bags for $30 from a eBay store in the UK. I went halves with my mother as I bought her one of these vacuums in pink so it worked out to be $15 for $10 ($1.50 each)

They are about $25 for 10 locally ($2.50 each)

  • God darn it! I was reading reviews before purchasing and now the red model is out of stock. Wow that sold out quick :(

    • +1

I'm sure it will be available again in the future, it could be 2-3 months though and no idea what the Aussie dollar will compare to the GBP between now and then. It could be cheaper if we are lucky.

  • +1

Does the yellow version come with accessory kit?

    • +2

The pink one did, I would guess the yellow one does too but I'm not 100% sure about it.

  • NOT EXPIRED YELLOW IN STOCK WARNING WARNING

    • Removed expiry… Will update to 'out of stock' when I see that yellow runs out of stock.

The last time this deal was on I brought one and still have not received it. They were back ordered and still not sure whats happening…

    • Crikey- I ordered on the 8th of August: it was despatched on the 9th: according to their excellent tracker it arrived at Brisbane on the 16th.

      Should be here by Tuesday.

    • +3

I ordered one last time also. They don't bother to contact you.
I sent them an email weeks later as there was no update…only to be told sorry, there was no stock, so they cancelled the order.
I said i still wanted the item and was happy to wait. I asked if they had more on order, they said they did but it wasn't being made available for online purchases….not even to fulfill an order.
….a month later, here they are again.

      • …..item still awaiting pick up.
The support staff said they are trying to get it from another supplier….. I guess I'm not getting the vacuum this time either…..:(

  • How long does it take for the red to be typically restocked? Anyone know? Any rep?

  • Yellow back in stock
