Up and Go 250 ml 12 Packs $9.99 at Aldi from 31/08/13

100

Chocolate and Vanilla varieties only.

This is part of the Special Buys promotion at Aldi so stock levels will vary between stores. The price is only available until the goods sell out.

This is the best price I have seen on the 12 packs. I've never seen Coles or Woolworths sell the 12 packs at this price. The best recent price has been Woolworths $5 for the 6 packs a couple of weeks ago. This is effectively the same unit price.

The Aldi 12 pack price isn't the best price the unit price has been. The best I've seen is approximately $2.25 for the 3 pack which Coles and Woolworths have had from time to time. It's been several months since I've seen this price however. I ran out of supplies a couple of weeks ago and bought the Woolworths 6 packs when they were on special at the start of August. Thought I'd mention this deal just in case others were running out of stock while waiting for the $2.25 for the 3 pack to happen again.

I've never seen Up and Go at Aldi before. I'm wondering whether the supermarkets haven't been able to clear enough of the 12 packs and Aldi got a good deal from the suppliers. I have no idea of the expiry dates on the 12 packs in this promotion.

Good luck finding the stock. Aldi reserve the rights to set a limit once the product is on sale.

  • Aldi's Home brand ones are $3 for 3.

    • Interesting. I hadn't actually noticed the Aldi brand product before.

This means that Aldi are selling a brand name product at a cheaper unit price than their generic product.

      • Yes but then you also need to factor in the quantity of 12 instead of 3. So if Aldi was doing 12, they'll probably offer it at $10. Just saying.

        • Good speculation. Aldi seem to only have one size of each of their products. I don't know if they'd consider offering a 12 pack of this sort of thing. I'm sure there are exceptions to the "one size" idea but I can't remember any off the top of my head. Maybe butter?

  • I've been seeing these 12 packs at Aldi for many moons and most often at $10

    • I'll keep this in mind if I run out of stock again.
