free shipping for nexus 7? now thats a deal!

  • can I put the SSD into Nexus 7 if I'm buying both by using voucher code: EVONEXUS?

    • +9

Glad that someone asked this :P. There might be a new model called EVO Nexus with such features, but currently the memory size of Nexus 7 2013 is non upgradable.

Samsung 840 Evo 250GB SSD - Would this be compatible with an Asus Lamborghini vx7sx?

    • +3

It will be compatible with Asus Lamborghini. Should you decide to purchase, please do some online checkups on DIY installation for SSD (if you have not done so).

      P.S. Cool laptop btw

    • That is 200.50 ryt now :(

    I've got to ask again….any availability / deals / prices on the 840 EVO 1tb? :-)

    • +1

It will take a little while longer before they are available, but you know it will be featured when the time is right :).

Any last minute Microserver offers for Father's Day??!!

    • -1

More importantly, how is the outlook on the G2020T?

      • +1

        Hi Guys,

There are no news on any downwards movement in cost for the Microservers so if the previous 2 offers were not what ozbargain wanted, it is not much point for me to re-offer them.

        Regards
        SE

Good price on 8GB Kingston. Perfect timing. Bought.

  • OMG! Thats a great price for the SSD… cheaper than intel 520. I bought my Pro 840 for that price only a 2 months ago!!

  • Any deals on the Samsung 840 PRO 256gb?

    • +1

      Hi JDM4LIFE,

Their cost stays persistently up and does not looked to be going down atm. Won't say 100% no deal in the near future as we will put this into consideration for future promo.

      Kind regards

  • can you do any deals for the ram for imacs?
    pretty pleassseeeeeeee

  • Hi OP, can you please confirm the price of Nexus 7 2013 includes GST?

    • +1

      Pretty certain that is does.
They are an Aussie business with an ABN so they have to advertise inc GST.

    • +1

      Hi crv777,

Confirming with you the price includes GST.

Love these guys. Bought a 840 evo 250gb last friday and it arrived on tuesday. They ship pretty damn fast.

    • lol bought one from megabuy last monday and it arrived this tuesday.
      goddamnit

    • Guess some are luckier than others. Bought a Sony Xperia Z as part of the click frenzy sale and it still hasn't been sent. Haven't had any luck getting replies to my query either.

      • Hi Sentry459,

Apologize that we did oversold the Sony Xperia Z phones and our CS should have contacted the ones affected. Please PM me your ticket id so our customer support can follow up your case on monday.

        Kind Regards

    • so you were misled into thinking that the nexus 7 would be $189?
      come on…

    • The title is fine. Even if you couldn't understand it, was it worth negging a great deal?

  • Hmm, the code doesn't seem to work for 750GB Evo. Anyone else have this problem?

    • Give another go please ~~

      Regards
      SE

Eyyyyy it works now :D thanks!

        • No worries :) my bad for earlier.

          Cheers
          SE

        • Oh one more question.

About the free postage, is that only for the one without insurance?

        • Yes - both methods applicable

  • Perfect timing! this is exactly what i've been looking for ShoppingExpress. Any chance of a N54L sale anytime soon?

    • Hi OmNomNomagon,

We wished we could do but looking at current cost and stock, N54L wouldn't have a sale anymore (at least not ozbargain worthy based on recent response).

      Kind Regards
      SE

      • +1

Ah no worries. I might just pick it up at the current price then. thanks for the super quick response.

        • Hi OmNomNomagon,

Greatly appreciate your understanding and massive support :).

          Kind Regards
          SE

      • Hi SE, sorry to hammer you about the N54L, in your opinion will the price ever drop from what it is now?

And if not, any combination with harddrive deals (WD Reds especially) around the corner?

        Thanks again.

PS. My 250GB EVO from the previous deal arrived today, 4 business day shipping to Perth- happy with that.

        • Hi johnnyb,

          No worries mate.
The limited stock left in Australia suggest the chances of price drop is very very slim. They will phase out very soon from what i can see as supplier's stock/ our stocks are moving (not as quick as before but still selling). We have a special price on WD Red drive in today's newletter promotion, you might want to have a look.

          Regards
          SE

        • Thanks for the answer SE, from your previous posts I was suspecting as much.

I only see the RE's in the promotion, that is more expensive enterprise model right?

          Thanks.

        • Yup —- i might have mistook it with another promotion that ended days ago :P. For the WD Red Drives, may think of a future promotion related to them.

          Kind Regards
          SE

Great deal on the Nexus! Along with the free postage the no credit card surcharge is another benefit that SE offers over the competition.

  • Wow, sweet deal! I was just about to buy that same SSD for $129 this weekend but at $109 I don't mind waiting to get my hands on one.

Great timing. Hopefully doesn't take too long for the item to reach Perth.

  • Hi Rep,

Is the RAM listed here compatible with N54L??
    "Kingston 8GB DDR3 Desktop Ram - $69 Free Shipping"

    http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/kingston-8gb-ddr3-1600…

    Thanks

    • Hi chutibuti,

      Yes it is

      Regards.
      SE

      • Hi, one more question,

The N54L I bought from you came with 2GB, Can I use your ""Kingston 8GB DDR3 Desktop Ram - $69 Free Shipping" http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/kingston-8gb-ddr3-1600…

and make it 10Gb or do i need to remove the existing 2gb & put this 8G module ??

        • Hi chutibuti,

the 2GB is ECC non registered, while this is non ECC, so please do not mix them together.

          Regards
          SE

        • I mixed ECC and non-ECC in the N54L I bought, installed Ubuntu 13.04 and it didn't seem to mind. Didn't run it for very long though before grabbing a 99c run-out non-ECC ram stick from DSE (thanks Ozb!) and using that instead of the 2gb included ECC.

I've heard windows is a bit fussier though so wouldn't try mixing in that.

edit: sorry, fixed it. it was a 99c ram stick of 4gb, not a $4 stick. Man that was a sweet deal.

        • Thanks all , just ordered 8G, if anyone is having
99c sticks from DSE, please let me know :)…

  • Hey rep, keen for a 60 or 64gb ssd deal if possible, any good brand :)

    • Unfortunately, due to the cost different between the 2 being relatively small, we have no plans to bring 64GB SSD into our warehouse atm.

      Regards
      SE

  • +3

I think youll find 64gb drives are usually a fair bit slower than the 128gb drives anyway, you are better off with 120gb or higher.

  • good deal. ordered elsewhere (yesterday) unfortunately. :/

  • SE, could you qualify your Nexus 7 returns policy for broken pixels? I'm trying to determine any disadvantage of buying online versus over counter.

  • Hi Rep,

Free shipping is not applying, cheapest option is aus post e-parcel ($9.85)
edit: this after applying (EVONEXUS) with the 250GB SSD and Nexus (non-LTE)

    • My bad - the shipping is charged and then taken out with the discount.

  • HI SE
Can I use this SSD for my MacBook Pro 15" circa 2010? thanks

  • Hi Rep, are you still there or gone home for the day? I am about to order one but just want to make sure.

  • Hi Rep, is the Nexus 7 32GB you are selling official Australian stock? And isn't $339 the RRP?

    • Yes we are selling official Australian stock

      Regards
      SE

  • think i asked on last one too… but can you also offer free shipping for samsung pro please?

  • +3

Hey rep, could you do a deal on the Nexus 16GB version? I want to buy one for my dad but he doesn't need the extra space. Kogan's got them selling for $279 + delivery right now. Any way you could beat that? Thanks.

    • +2

Yep please give us 16GB as well rep. I just don't think I need more than that.

      • Hi all,

We will not receive any 16GB for this batch of stock.

        Regards
        SE

  • Samsung 840 Evo 750GB SSD, just received after 4 days, it's amazing and the software makes everything so easy!!! First use data migration to transfer your OS to the SSD and use the samsung magician for optimizations, firmware upgrades and benchmarks. Love my new ssd!

There is a problem with my order. Its been stuck in "Pick" Status for many days.
