450

Saw this bundle on special at HN Warragul while browsing around looking for some Philips Uptown headphones. They had heaps piled up on the floor.

Good price, not sure if it's a bargain though as it's kinda what I'd expect to pay for a 360 at this point.

Keep in mind that this has a Kinect bundled in as well, not just the base 360.

The xbox one isn't backwards compatible, so it's still worth picking up a 360 to play the huge library of games.

360 and ps3 still have a couple of years of support with alot of games still to come.

      • You could sell the Kinect for ~$50 or maybe more too.

you could sel the xbox for $50 or maybe more

        • I'm not sure what I missed that this got so many pos votes?

Been holding off buying one of these for years. At this price I will be able to have my very own games console!

  • Great deal,
I bought one a month or two ago from Kmart for 199 :(

The same deal plus some 4 games were on offer at Kmart last time for 199$ so this is a great deal.

For me it's just buyers regret…

I've been hanging out for the PS3 deals. So if this is an indicator, I shouldn't have to wait too long.

Has anyone spotted any other HNs offering this?

    • I'll be calling HN Taren Point/Caringbah at about midday to see if they are. I really hope so, I let the $169 deal on microsoftstore.com go last night because of it.

I have been looking though and I'm worried that it's a pricing error - the Kinect bundle itself is $148 and the console is $188. That's a pretty big markdown.

      • It's not a pricing error, I confirmed that with the CSR, however, it's probably only a store specific special. Sometimes some HN stores pricematch other HN stores so you never know your luck.

        • If they price-match a HN store in another state I'll be cheering!

        • Just called them. No luck, looks to be a store specific special. They also won't price match due to the price parity of this package versus the Kinect on it's own.

  • would of be an awesome cruse to Warragul today if i new about this early. sunny with some fresh wind…ah should I pull a sick tomorrow?

    • +2

      Pull a fully sick

  • If you really want one, personally I'd wait until Christmas. The next gen will be out by then (and hopefully in stock), and games will be dirt cheap. I wouldn't be surprised if you can get one with a decent hard drive for about the same price.

You've waited 8 years, may as well wait a few more months :)

  • I'm holding out for GTA:V combo deals-only a short wait until it's released!

    • Gta5 should be on Xbox 360?

      • yeah, he's waiting for a bundle with the console + GTA 5

        • that's ok, at least I'll be able to play it when its out on my new 360!

  • 3 left as of 1pm Monday.

    • What? Only 3 left at Warragul now? They have done well. They had heaps yesterday.

      • The lady said around 20 they had.

        • Any Philips uptown/downtown headphones left?

        • wasn't looking for them, sorry. i have enough headphones :(

        • That's cool. Just trying to get updates for those that may still be looking for these headphones. There were a few left when I was there yesterday. It seems a few Ozbargainers have snapped up the Xbox so I'm fairly sure the headphones would have got snapped up too.

  • Bought 2. Selling one new in box $148. Impulse buying you pay what I paid.

    • pm sent buddy

        • done.. c u tomorrow buddy..
          :D

  • Can a hard drive or SSD be added to these guys for extra storage? Great find OP btw!

    • Yup. I'm gonna buy a hard drive this week. I assume a cheapo off eBay will be ok?
