  Makes no mention of ability to create PAL (Australian standard) DVD's, it just says it will convert PAL format VHS to NTSC (American standard). No big deal as most TV's these days support NTSC but:

  1. That means additional time in conversion
  2. The quality of NTSC is nowhere near as good as PAL

  Just my 2 cents worth
