Hope Farm is a family owned organic gourmet Sourdough Bakery, which specializes in producing genuine European-style breads using the finest organic and bio-organic stone-ground flours.

We bake a wide variety of Sourdough Breads including a wheat free range, light rye breads, wheat range, fruit range and the festive range. Other tempting varieties include wholemeal date scones, bran & chia muffins and banana bread.

The breads are certified with NASAA and our bakery is located in Yarragon, Gippsland Victoria. All our breads are still hand molded giving them that personal love that many comment as making all the difference in flavor and texture.

Our products are sold mainly at farmers markets throughout Gippsland and the greater Melbourne area.

Our breads consist of the finest Australian certified wholegrain flours, sea salt and filtered water. We do not add any sugars, oils or baker's (commercial) yeast. Our desire is to produce the wonderful traditional breads that people enjoyed baking and delighted in eating in days gone by.

  • this bread looks awesome but as a home bread baker myself I'd have to wonder how well the bread would be upon arrival. Bread with with oils and fats hold up kind of ok for a few days but that plain sourdoughs while delicious looking would probably crystallize quite quickly. Looks amazing though.

  • can confirm the fruit loaf is amazing!

  • I had reason to look these guys up years ago and their beliefs, and the beliefs of their "prophet" David Kriss were quite concerning. Maybe they changed? I don't know, I think David Kriss died a couple of years ago. I wouldn't buy it though.

    • I remember bumping into a few of them some years ago at a festival in Gippsland (Vic). The guys dress like Jesus - i said "Hi Jesus!" - seemed like the right thing to do.

These guys are seriously hard core - as the link says, which matches the leaflets they were handing out at the time - they're preparing for the Muslim hordes…

I've bought their stuff - it's seriously good core.

  • ordered 2 fruit loaves, look amazing!

  • baked yesterday, delivered this morning - yum :)
