Got the email but the page doesn’t open in the app, but rather a web page which seems a bit buggy. Refreshed a few times and banked for Christmas but didn’t see any boost option or mention about the points. Hopefully all works out ok.
I got the email, when I open the app there was a popup for it but I think I tapped out of it accidentally as it was quick. Now I can't see it under my boosters section. Email doesn't have a boost option either.

You just change to bank for Xmas. Then it will show up in your boosted offers.

Micky14's advice above is correct - after I changed from automatic savings to Bank for Christmas, a "5000 points for Christmas" appeared in my boosters section as boosted.

that's the standard statement that rewards says every time a similar promo is available. I believe they will be available as soon as its added. i will update this asap

If you switch your Rewards choice from Bank for Christmas to Automatic Savings or Qantas Points at any point throughout the offer period you will not be eligible for this offer.
Your points will be loaded onto your Everyday Rewards Card within 10 business days of switching your Rewards choice from Automatic Savings or Qantas Points to Bank for Christmas and your qualifying shop.Should mean that:
after the offer period (30 June) and/or
after you received the points no later than 10days
Which ever one came first… then you’re free to do whatever you want. Won’t be locked til xmas…
I recall a similar offer from Woolworths a couple of years ago. As soon as I got the bonus points, I switched away from "Bank for Christmas" and just used my points as usual.

Yes, they do expire. However, your points and dollars will remain active as long as you scan your Everyday Rewards Card in store or use it online at least once every 18 months. If you have a temporary Everyday Rewards Card, the period is 6 months.
Expiry is for offer, not points expiring.
It's just a reminder to spend & scan card!Never lost any points. But always used cards within a year to be safe.

I bought $150 amaysim and was able to use 10% everyday extra and completed weekly $80 booster but I didn’t receive 5000 points. So not sure if they excluded SIM cards from this offer
Usually they dont and there can be other random factors/glitches preventing you from receiving the pts, so it is kind of hard to say with just a single data point.

My 2 EEx also didn't get it. only 2 other regular accs got it. What I'm trying now is, get on my EEx, change to bank to Christmas and Message them in app asking where is the boosted offer which I received notification for earlier and have activated it. See if they budge xD

Yes, your existing rewards dollars will be locked away as long as your redemption option is set to Bank for Christmas.
That means you cannot use any existing rewards dollars to pay for the $30+ shop as part of this deal.

You can after the end of the offer period, and you should be fine to do it immediately after you receive the points (even if you receive the points before the end of the offer period).

I logged in to a targeted account, had a popup I can't remember. Relaunched the app and had a popup for some headphones. Relaunched again and had the offer popup. Now no popup
I was in a similar position that I dismissed the pop-up but after manually switching to banking the points and restarting the app, it appeared it more boosters section of the app.
