  Is this a touchscreen laptop? In the description is says that it is but then in the specs below it says that it isn't. Can anyone please confirm?

    The model number is V5-573-54204G50amm which I can't find on acer AU website.

    But online shops list this model as NO touchscreen.

  Yo Guys, I've call up Dick Smith store, ask them about this model. And it's Not a touch screen, so they actually misplaced description on their website. I can't believe people do not double check it before publish which they should…

    Should read:

    This is actually a very good deal with the cash back.
    The processor is 4th Gen i5-4200U. For comparison, new MacBook Air uses 4th Gen i5-4250U
    Keyboard takes awhile to get used to but nice notebook. Very slim.

    It's not touchscreen but Dick smith does have V571p model for $548 which is touch screen.

  The latest Price for ACER Aspire V5-573 is $499 in Dick smith as shown in their web site. Seems a good bargain if we can claim the Acer cash back of $79 (bring the price down to $420).
  For those who are in SA, you can buy a Woolworths Wish gift card from RAA shop at a 5% discount, then use it to pay for the laptop(no need to worry about 5% price match at Officeworks) you will save further $25 from that.
  and Finally you can claim TRS GST refund proximately 10% (if you are travelling overseas within next 60 days).
  If you are lucky to tick all the boxes The Total cost would be

  499 - $25(Wish Gift Card discount) - $79 (Acer cash back) - $45 (GST Refund) = $350

  Only just joined so am unable to post a new deal yet (perhaps someone else may think it is worthwhile reposting) but just wanted to let you know that this model which I believe is the V5-573-5420G50amm has further reduced to $499 today making it $420 after cashback.
