  Repco have a "garage" vacuum (1400w 30L) which looks somewhat similar to this on introductory special for $59.

  This looks like a seasonal sale price on these things. These retailers are all like jewellers in the way they advertise the usual price. Complete fantasy. Someone needs to give the toothless ACCC some teeth.

    Have you seen a Harris Scarfe Catalogue recently? The kitchenware and dinnerware especially - some of the RRPs are ridiculous…

  The thing about these generic brands is are you ever going to be able to get another filter for them? Even in a local big hardware store which ahs about half a dozen different ones ranging from generic to Karcher and the like I only saw filters for one Karcher model.

  I bought an AirFlo vacuum quite a while ago,
  it also came with a car 12V vacuum(which broke after one use)
  the 1st were a test to see if it works/sucks, and 2nd time(after 1 year+) it just never powered up.
  then the home unit broke also just right after 1 year(just 1 week out of warranty)

  never again I will buy this brand……
