Picked up two at Hoxton Park, NSW store. They've still got two sitting in the shelf (may be more inside somewhere).
Phones now serving as receiving only set on the PSTN besides another Uniden 3115+1 acting as the main set on the Billion 7800VDOX.
$10 worths the battery alone!
About 20 in stock at Fairy Meadow (NSW). Shelf still marked ~$70 but scan at $10.
Walked into NSW North Ryde store, couldn't find any on the shelf, so asked a staff, just as I mentioned the Uniden DECT phone, he said "you asked him already!" and pointed to another sales who was talking to other customer.
WTF, firstly, I didn't ask anyone after I walked in to store; secondly, even I had asked someone else, is it the policy of Officeworks that forbidden customer to ask the same question again now? So furious, I walked out the store.
It seems to me, some staff in Officeworks have lower service standards than their prices. The lower prices do not entitle your cocky attitude!

i took (probably last) two off the shelf this morning.
not sure on this but think the handset can be registered to another 3115 or 3115+1 to make a 2 or three handset phone.
Yes it can, I did that to mine. =)
How do you configure it to another 3115 handset?
1) Hold down END + #
2) This shows you the reset menu.
3) Scroll down to select 'deregister handset'.
4) Wait for it to finish.
5) Place it onto the main base you want to register it on, and wait for it to finish.
6) That's it!
And after the registration, would the handset be charged if it is placed on the other base (not the one with the phone line)and will it re-register itself to that base?
No it STAYS registered to the base you registered it on.

Okay, so it's effectively, 6-handset basic phone (no answering machine etc.) for $60.
BTW, I tried registering a 3115-handset with 3035-base but it didn't work. Also it didn't work the other way (i.e., 3035-handset on 3115-base).
Looks like the 3000-series and 3100-series are NOT interoperable.
whilst uniden dect 6.0 is not true dect (no gap) so can't mix brands, i'm surprised different series don't mix either :(

Any idea if this works as a spare phone in the ADSL connection. I got iinet naked DSL, plugged into the modem/router, but no luck.
I have no idea what you are asking, it sounds to me like you want to use a phone without paying for a line, in that case you need voip and either a voip router or a analog telephone adapter or ATA for short, and a voip account with a provider to use this phone without a standard pstn phone line
Otherwise if you mean can I use the phone in a standard routers ethernet port the answer is no.
i don't think it will work because it's not a VOIP phone. It just says it's WIFI friendly.
We're using a regular handset for voip, simply plug base into voip modem.

Good luck. Should have done your research. One has sold for $50 this month with the other being $20. With many nooblets such as yourself attempting to sell an uncommon item on eBay, prices will crash and competition will increase.

Just bought 2 at 8am this morning at Clarence St OW in Sydney CBD. They don't put the phones on display, I had to ask them and they brought them out from the warehouse.
There were about 10 this morning at Bayside. Put 2 in the shopping basket but thought the better of it and bought just the 1 instead. Even though they're cheap I don't need strictly need 2; besides, another person could benefit from the bargain.

Went to Bundoora OW at lunchtime, expecting no stock. I asked the girl at the front counter and she had no idea. She called who appeared to be a more experienced lady and she said there was a queue at 7am and they pretty much sold out fairly quickly. I asked her to have a look on the top shelf, and guess what she found 2!

Does this work with the fritzbox or billion?
I got two yeterday only to find out they can't be setup as handset 1 and handset 2 as the extension without the phone line. Because having two base stations registered as handset 1 won't allow the phones to page or communicate with each other.
If you want to this handset with multiple extensions you need to use 3115 as basestation and 3105 as the extra handsets.
It is not written on the box that you need a different model handset for the extensions. It just states Multi Handset Capabilities "up to 6 handsets with the one phone socket"
I have them both as Handset 1 and Handset 2. And they can intercom each other both ways.
How do you register them as handset 1 and 2? Do I need to plug both base stations into the phone socket? At the moment both of mine are registered as handset #1.
I registered them how I explained above. I only have 1 base plugged into the phone socket. I think you should try the steps above again.
Thanks. Just gave it a go and all good after a few failed attempts.
Only thing is that the Find Handset button on handset #2 base station does not work any more. On #1 still works fine and base station #1 has to be the one connected to the telephone line.
So basically the bases station on the extra extensions becomes like the basic 3105 extension. And disables any of the extra features available on the base station.
