  • Good considering you can't buy a 2TB 2.5" on it's own from MSY, CPL or PCCG for that.

  • Got this from officeworks last week for the same price.

  • Officeworks recently had the 2tb Elements portable for the same price but if you can get the 2tb My Passport for the same price3 it would be a better deal.

  • Binglee Rockdale Plaza has plenty in stock.

    Just got one for $149.

  • fark, paid $159 for the Elements 2Tb at MSY yesterday while Brodening Mr Data!

Personally I don't like the Passport edition with the smartware, CDFS partition and password protection. Just use truecrypt. http://www.truecrypt.org/

    • Smartware is still via a firmware-entrenched VCD in current WDs? I've read here and there that they stopped doing that.

  • Have one myself from the $110 Amazon sale a few months back. Great little pocket drive with good speed and massive capacity.

  • Anyone cracked open this case and stuck this in a PS3 ?

Wondering how hard it is to get the case open

    • I believe the drive is thicker than average hard drive so it may not fit.
Also the PCB is soldiered on, so it doesn't have SATA.
This is as far as I know. From random sources in my memory from the past.

Price matched at Officeworks in Hunter St, Sydney CBD today. They had a few on the shelf. $141.55 total price. Nice. Thanks OP!
