If you're after a 1TB USB3.0 the Hitachi Touro is at MSY, Umart and a few others for $79.

If you need it shipped, then this is a decent price.

    • not as durable = not same product … fiance just destroyed my 500gb portable, so i think i get to buy a new one :)

      • Fair enough.

For those who don't have a habit of breaking their drives there's no advantage to the Transcend. You could consider it's extra size and weight a disadvantage.

But if you're after something shock resistant, good price.

  • Supports mil std 810?

if we don't buy it through feebay can it be done any cheaper?

  • .

  • Bought a transcend thumb drive 8 years ago. Still working now.

  • I think the only thing is that it uses 2 USB ports if you're plugging it into a USB2 computer. I could be wrong or mistaking it for another product though…

    • Naturally! To get USB 3.0 speeds you need to have a USB 3.0 port on your computer otherwise you'll get USB 2.0 speeds (or even USB 1.1 if you have a relic computer).

He's saying it takes two ports to supply the power.
