Unfortunately, do to budget cuts, and tightening of one's belt, I've had to let some of my domestic staff go, so I won't be dining on freshly shot turkey from my grounds this year. Shame, but one must move on! Tally ho!
Any idea how to cook this? Don't like the meat tasting bland. Any ozbargain chefs?
Exactly what the directions say - these things turn out exceptionally good! Really healthy too.
My family insists on buying frozen turkey every year because, you know, it's the thing to do at Christmas. It's incredibly bland. Normal everyday chicken is superior in every way (including price). Maybe there are better ways to prepare turkey, but I have a feeling people buy turkey at Christmas because everyone else is buying turkey at Christmas.

Forget my earlier comments - the Coles ones of these SUCK! ONLY get the Ingham's ones from Woolies, I cannot stress this enough; they are two COMPLETELY different products!

not in SA it seems. I was super excited about this deal too.
They did have 20% off on some of the smaller sizes, but the 2kg was marked as (and scanned as) $42.
Same at Sylvania NSW
I tried Coles Tuggeranong in Canberra with no luck either. Scanned at $42. :(

Just went to pick one up at Brunswick but they were all gone. HOWEVER, the manager was going to give me 2 x 1kg packs for the same price (not the marked special price of ~$16 each). When they scanned them, they already showed up as $11 each anyway.
Must be Victorian stores only, just tried Dee Why as well they had tons of stock but all $42,the freezer mananger knew nothing of it
