I went for the liquid clay bar. I did about 3 or so months of car detailing, and after realising the power of clay, I've been trying to find a cheap place to pick it up ever since. Free is about as cheap as I'm gonna get ;)
I went the liquid clay. If you have ever used a traditional clay bar you will know how fantastic the results are. If this liquid version is as good as or close to as good as the usual clay bar is (but much easier to apply) then its a winner.
And its free.
Btw, the liquid clay bar was $38 at supercheap. Not sure how much that was for and no doubt the sample wont be that big, but just giving you guys an idea on price should you like the sample. Liquid polish was the same price.

\_/7Not sure about the repo polishing paste, but at Keystar, they were like little clay sausages, and you spray the car with a bottle of water, and rub the clay along the body of the car. Removes every bit of grime, dirt, anything that is abrasive when you rub your hand over your car, it makes it silky smooth. I haven't used the liquid stuff before, hopefully it works as well, but I was also told to never try using normal clay :p haha
@OwenNein: Yeah pretty much. The meguiars one that I was using used a Quick Detailer spray to wet the paint surface, then you gently rub the clay bar onto the lubricated surface. The clay picks up the surface contaminants embedded into the clear coat. I was sold the first time when I ran a cloth across the clayed section then into the non-clayed section (the cloth slowed right down) . The clay bar makes the surface like glass.
Never used this liquid version but for the right price (free) I'm willing lol
