Man, I dunno, I've always found Freedom to be Ikea quality, at King Furniture prices.

agreed. $499 is not a bargain for the quality of freedom

    • really?

Freedom isn't as bad as ikea (cardboard honeycomb for structural rigidity lol). Bought an entertainment unit from them for $300 before, weighed like 100kgs, built like a wooden tank.

Gym membership, or sofa to watch walking dead. Decisions, decisions…

    • Sofa hands down!

Either one is zombie apocalypse training. Cardio/strength training vs mental training. You should really get both.

      • Crap accidently neg voted.. damn mobile buttons are too small!

        • The "+1 vote" should be in the middle of the plus & minus.

          Ha, it happens.

Whatever you do… don't go the World War Z path to "zombie" prep, lol

  • I like it, but would want to check it out before hand to see if quality + material are reasonable.

  • It's being Ozbargained right now.. page won't load

  • I think it's a rather pretty couch, unfortunately (or fortunately) doesn't match my current decor, otherwise I'd check out the materials for sure. Link is working. BTW, it says 6-8weeks for delivery on the website.

Had this for about a week now. Quality seems quite good, not so plush that you sink into it, but not too firm like you're sitting on the carpet. Certainly wouldn't pay $1000, but at $500 I think we made the right choice.

It will seat 3 adults just enough so you're not touching each other, unless you want to. And with the low arms it's quite comfortable to lay on it. I'm 5'11 and my head can rest on one arm with my feet on the other.

Although it says fully assembled you do need to put the 4 feet on. The give you one of those throw away hex keys which is exactly what i did in favor of the cordless screwdriver. Using the key will take a while as you can only do a 1/4 turn because the screws are recessed in the inside of the legs.

    • On holiday in Hobart, but this comment convinced us to go check the display Cecil in town, call our local freedom and put a deposit down. Thanks!
