          you still get 12 months warranty. even EBgames and another stors stock had some issues but with this price why not

          It was the known issue with TRIM, an upgrade to 4.3 shall resolve the issue.

    do the eee pads include the dock?
    always confuses me as I dont see it in the description but they're in the photos..

      Damn it just bought one and didn't check, if you read the reviews they rave about how big the keyboard is, also the pictures show it with keyboard so if it doesn't come with the keyboard it's very misleading..

    Is the EEEPAD worth getting?

    mine is stuffed after trying to update to 4.3 JB. Gave the dreaded red triangle over the droid's belly and the word ERROR. After rebooting the device is stuck with the coloured X!

    Did a wipe of cache partition and a factory reset, did not help. Looks like Ive a brick..

    Got mine today, its look like new. Updated without problem.
    The screen look a little pixelly, but may because I am used to look at the retina screens.
    Otherwise everything perfect. Will updated if I notice any problem.

    basically no warranty card = no warranty!

    A big circle on the screen appeared when the screen became dirty. It is really funny.

    I found there is click sound in the left side when I push in the screen, it doesnt bother me that much but will try to call greys and see what happens, and I will try to ask about the warranty card.

      I'd just contact Asus direct…..
      They don't seem to worry about a warranty card, (nor even proof of purchase), they get details from the serial numbers.
      I doubt grays will be of any use

          I rang them, (twice)….. (one bricked after update, the other wouldn't switch on at all….. just got a kind of screen flicker), they emailed me a returns slip and I just dropped it in to the PO.

          They were pretty good really

          Called them this morning , they told me may be the back cover broken or problem with the screen. They gave me the choice to send it back or drop it of in any asus service, choosed to drop it off. In the asus service the guy told me its broken and will take up to 10 days to get I fixed/replaced. Will wait for it

    crap. Got a lemon …. the touch screen has phantom touch, factory reset, touch screen became flicker….. restart ….. phantom touch again.

    2nd day test…… all seems fine…… so intermittent hard to prove that it's faulty…. guess have to use it a while to make it more obvious before i could claim the warranty.

    Just got my replacement, they gave me new one sealed in a box with charger and micro USB, and still have the charger of the faulty one. Its already updated and looks better than the old one really happy with it. But hate the waiting it took them around 10 days.

      apparently they found no fault in the main service centre…… in which i showed the fault to the local service centre

      there is no communication at all since 6 of Nov…. :(

    hi everyone. i was playing a flv file today for say 40 mins or so, i could feel the device getting mildly hot at the bottom, just on top of the charging port. is it normal?

      Yes its kind of normal because of the long use. Its worm a little bit where is the battery placed. Most of the devices getting worm after long use, I am facing same problem with my iPad and galaxy nexus.

    kind of sad….. took them 4 weeks. sent me "new" unit. and it's still faulty of other sort……(no sound, flicker screen)

    never again.
