At the end of the Sydney Rides Festival, City of Sydney is giving away all of the plants used in the festival displays.

Between 8am and 11am on Sunday 3 November plants will be available at St Mary's Cathedral Square (near Hyde Park), with gold coin donations requested for charity.

    "White Ribbon will be fundraising on the day so we will ask for a cold coin donation"

    If you check the website, we are being asked to bring cold coins. This might be a turn-off for some. I find it difficult to maintain coins cold in my pocket, but I'll do my best.
