  • seems cheap, thanks rep

  • Cheers, picked one up. Checked umart and they retail for $35.

  • Can't speak for this model but I live my steel series mouse.

  • +14

i like this mouse except for having no forward or back buttons.

  • +1

    Any deal for keyboards?

  • +8

Yikes, was about to jump on then realised they don't have forward/backward buttons!

    Good deal nevertheless!

  • +1

Good deal, just picked one up - actually comes to $10.15 with a "$0.15" Paypal surcharge.

    • +21

Damn 15c more…gonna have to sleep on this one…

  • thanks for the bargain !

  • I prefer back/forward buttons as well. Grabbed this anyway. My wireless has been pissing me off as it's not holding battery charge as it used to. Thanks op.

  • Bewdy. Thanks.

  • good backup mouse ty!

  • Got one for a mate. Thanks a lot!

  • +5

1.5% surchage if paid by paypal. These days 15c gets you pretty far on OZB. Think Im gonna pass this deal

A plus from me anywayz :)

  • got me an orange one, yay.

  • Bought me 2, white & orange, $20.00 total, yay!

    Thanks OP :D :D :D

  • +1

Darn. Would have been perfect if it was wireless - mine just died on me last night. Great deal nevertheless.

  • I'm in need of a few new mice to replace my old, half busted Razer Deathadders. Oh if only these had Fwd and Back buttons, I would be all over this! I'm half tempted to just grab 2 anyway, and see if I can get by without the extra buttons….

  • Bought a white one for my little sister, thanks store rep! :)

  • Bought an Orange one

  • Hi rep, I ordered a orange one, but I actually meant to get the blue one. I've sent a message at the end of my order (#438939). Can you accommodate this? thanks!

  • Got myself two as well. orange and yellow. THANKS! :D

  • Grabbed Gloss white. Kinda tempted to get a yellow one as well…

  • Got two blue and orange. Thanks rep

haven't heard of this brand/… bit surprised it is quite popular in this forum.. 79+

    • -1

one of Razer's competitors they make stuff similar to Razer

    • They're one of the three major gaming gear companies. Alongside Razer and Logitech. Now you know.

    • +4

      Logitech MX518 FTW!!

    • +2

Ouch I'm almost starting to have second thoughts on the $10.15 I just spent haha.

    • +5

C&P from below, forgot I probably should've set as a reply.

Don't believe the talk about the sensor sucking…. I've been running my Kinzu v2 for almost a year now at around 28cm/360 on a Goliathus Speed and it hasn't given me any trouble, and in the past I've used a DA 3.5G and WMO as well as tried countless other gaming mice. In terms of the surface being slippery, that happens with any mouse with a gloss finish and someone with sweaty hands (or simply playing for an extended period of time), can't comment much on this as mine has the matte finish. Not an SS fanboy either, first product of theirs that I've purchased and I'm quite happy with it.

    • Dude its only $10 who cares?

  • i want to get it but i already have a mouse

  • Thanks! Got a orange and a white one. :)

  • Any sale for the pro edition?

  • I bought 4 (2 blue, 2 orange), lol :~P

I was devastasted when they stopped making the MS Optical Wheel Mouse, my favourite mouse. Searched around and bought an Orange Kinzu a few months back and it's pretty good.

I also saved the $0.60 paypal fee by using Direct Deposit!

    • devastated …. ARGH :~P

Anyhow, it's a decent mouse, yes it has 3 buttons and a scrollwheel and it's wired.

  • thanks ozbargain.

    love it!

  • -3

oh great shipping cost more than the mouse itself to NSW

  • +3

Reviews on this are absolutely horrid. Here's a quote:

"Just about everything about this mouse is bad… if anyone can tell me one reason to get this mouse over a £5 cheap dell mouse because the sensor in this mouse is the worst I have ever seen."

    So probably not recommended.

    Link to review (http://www.overclock.net/t/1378313/steelseries-kinzu-v2-feel…)

    • +4

yeah, after seeing the review, i better save $10 and just stick with my current cheapy dell mouse instead …

  • +4

What's so good about it considering the original price. If nothing, then it was overpriced…

  • Would get another if needed but I already have one. Simple and excellent mouse!

  • +5

Got an account just to comment. • +2

you should also create an account in overclock.net to counter those arguments :p

      • Haha, I'm not out to help them sell more mice, just trying to make it clear that $10 for a decent mouse is a good deal for anyone that's tossing up on the decision :P

  • I know I will be downvoted for saying this but…that looks really cheap
Good offer though, someone always needs a mouse

    • I'll upvote you to encounter those serial brainless neg clickers. Yes, they're out there!!!

  • +1

Look sleek and it's a good deal, but for me, any mouse without side back & forward buttons is a waste of time.

Shame, cause I would have picked up a yellow and orange.

    +1 for the discount, anyway.

  • Great deal, thanks op.

  • +36

Save your money guys, get 2x connoisseur ice creams instead

    • Belgium CHocolate Ice cream is infinitely better than mice.

  • +4

You don't sell the only colour that appeals to me (black). Good deal though.

  • Didn't need this but bought one anyway.

  • Ordered. Can't be worse than the Logitech "Performance" MX. Give them three months and the left button starts double bouncing like a mofo… Then there's the three-month warranty replacement grind.

    • im using that one, its great. logitech will replace it for you easily.

      • Not from my experience. I'm on my second replacement one. All have developed the same problem, whereby one left click equals two. The last replacement, done directly through Logitech as it was bought interstate, literally took three months to arrive.

        • Dude that's called the double tap feature. Good for making sure an enemy is dead in-game. ;)

  • Can someone tell me what's good about this. It's not even cordless right?

    • +1

it's $10, and comes in bright colors to appease the wives

what more did you want for $10 mice?

      • So how's this better than all the other $5 mice that are littered all over the internet.

        http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=160900085554

        • +6

          steelseries is a respected brand.

      • For $10 you get a generic Microsoft mouse so I would say this is a fairly good deal for the price. No way I would pay full price though, you could get something like a Razer Deathadder for 50 bucks.

Steelseries is a reputable brand, programmable DPI (up to 3200) and supports Steelseries Engine software. You won't find this in your $5 made in china mouse.

        • And cheap generic mice don't last that long before the left button dies.

I assume this is a retired product, but I need an ambidextrous mouse (leftie).

        • The Kinzu v2 is ambidextrous.

        • -1

i think most of steelseries products are made in china

        • Razer and Logitech are made in china too.

    • +1

I got it as a cheap spare.

SteelSeries is a gaming brand much like Razer though this particular mouse seems to be on the lower/entry level end. Also in terms of gaming, cordless is not always better due to response times.

      • Well companies like Logitech are pushing their cordless technology to have already faster than fast response times.

  • +4

I would spend an extra $39 for this..

    http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/programmable-gaming-mo…

    $49 delivered

    • I had bought two of these and both have been faulty. Might just be bad luck but I'm never buying again.

      • They have warranties though. They will probably send you another one.

  • +7

Geez. How many of these do you have?

  • support small local business~
EDIT: despite the bad reviews, this is still a decent price for a mouse, even its not gaming mouse!!!

  • Thanks - picked one up for the missus

  • May I ask the rep, how many of these mice have you sold today? There are over 4000 licks on your link, so I wondering how many sales that translated to. Free bargains don't require paid advertising, just put the word out on free sites and the buyers will come.

  • -5

Just bought 10000000000000000 and am going to sell it l0l

    Edit.
Some people just can't handle the sarcasm

    • +5

Actually, I am wondering how many of these we'll see on Ebay? Mr Broden is sure to be in on it.

  • Thanks Rep.
    Any specials on mechanical keyboard?
    Thanks

  • great. planning to use for gaming.

  • Perfect timing! My mouse just broke. Thanks Rep!

  • Well its a so-so deal. I got a Razer Abyssus for $10 a year ago from overseas so it seems like these cheap 'budget' gaming mouses are being discounted everyone, probably because noone buys them. Also this 'gloss' material they put on these mouses make the mouse a sweat pool within 10 mins of use.

    • Razer Abyssus' are on constant sale on eBay ranging in the teens. Not sure on the legitimacy of the products though.

Most Razer mice can be had cheaply overseas and online, but again, legitimacy is unknown.

      • It came in original packaging and everything. The seller just opened the pack and removed the manuals, presumelly to save postage cost

  • +2

Still hasn't shipped. Not impressed with the service.

    • Apologies for the inconvenience caused in the shipping delay, our warehouse team is working as quickly as possible to get the mice shipped out for you. But due to the overwhelming number of orders that came through, there has been a bigger delay than normal in shipping. We will keep you posted and email you updates as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.

      • +1

Fair enough, maybe next time just give a quick heads up on here that there's currently a delay.

      • Yeah bought it on Tuesday, but just absolutely no progress … so when do u think people in sydney will receive it? latest next week?

        • Should be latest next week for you… what compounded the delay was the public holiday here in Melbourne on Tuesday we were closed. But our warehouse team is working around the clock to get the orders shipped out as quickly as possible for you. Thanks again.

        • I'm leaving Australia for good on Wednesday. Bought it on Saturday because I was expecting it to come in a week latest, based on your estimates on the website.

Did not expect this huge delay. Huge rushes for goods are expected in ozbargain posts, this should not have come as a surprise.

What can you do about this please? Could I get it cancelled? Could you help me with this?

        • If you can email through your order number to [email protected], we can sort it out immediately for you.

    • Received mine this morning. Looks good.

  • Received mine. Ordered on 01/11.

So good to change back to a wired mouse, after 3.5 years on a Logitech MX Revolution from a past logitechshop ozbargain. Not as ergonomic but doesn't piss me off with the constant need to recharge.

  • Agreed, these delays should have been foreseen, and in turn should have had a warning. Since it was estimated to be received this week according to the website.

    Still +1 for the deal.

  • Received it this morning, works great.

  • +1

Just got it, really, really atrocious mouse. Really bad purchase.

    • +1

      How so?

      • +2

        Received mine today
I wouldn't say atrocious, but I certainly wouldn't pay RRP for it.
Very low profile (makes your hand feel lower to the table), the glossy texture on the main buttons are certainly different to what I'm used to (razer copperhead rubberish grip + G400 rough grip + m950 grip)
Glossy texture reminds me of apple mouse. I would say it's for people who like the classic microsoft mouse that come with the computer, but slightly flatter.
        It's VERY light.
$10 is okay, but you must be out of your mind to pay $49 for this.
Probably why scorptec and msy are flogging them off for cheap.

  • Ordered 2 mice on 01/11/2013. Still not received. Apparently it was sent from Clayton/Melbourne on 11/11. I'm in central Melbourne. Warehouse in China?

    Invoice 423577

    Not very impressed!
