  • It's always been at $2.50.

Otherwise, great price for a BT adapter. It beats buying from any Australian store. Beware, the range is very short (less than 4 meters), if you want something with larger range, consider this SKU http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.754

  • Also to note it's $2.50 in U.S. dollars.. :/

    • Which makes it a massive $3.50 AUD shipped. ;) (But yes, the title is incorrect).

      • thanks - updated now.

  • cheap, i gave $10 for mine, great for notebooks/netbooks as they don't protrude to far, i use mine on my acer one

this is just the usual deal extremem price. so not really a bargain. otherwise you could list the whole site.

    • Yes, it was for me, because I never knew this site before and I paid $10 for mine!

Obviously, you never wanted to post it and share!

      • They've been mentioned quite a few times before.

They've also been discussed in the forums many times.

I'm voting negative because it's just dealextreme's normal everyday price, not a special price. It's the equivalent of posting a book from the Book Depository - they're cheap, they're great, but they're always like that.

      cameron_les,

Not everything in dx is a bargain, so it is nonsensical to list the whole site as a bargain.
The price of this particular item is probably the lowest and is a bargain.

      skinny,
      Thanks for sharing.

        95% of it is though.

I hope this doesnt start a stupid wave of DX deals. I'd neg them all

          Agreed

          • @G0bbo: Dealextreme have some good bargain items.

  • it is a good find no matter if it's on special price or not (consider it as a permanent sale).

    • I don't think any of them are permanent sales. That's the price you can get the product for, until they run out. Once it runs out, it looks like standard practice on DealExtreme that the product is not restocked. An alternative product may become available, but it just depends on what their suppliers have at the time.

That said, there may or may not be a lot of stock.

  • You often won't find better then this unless you buy one with an antenna or a very expensive one.

normal from deal extreme. not a bargain

    • I agree, this shouldn't be here.

  • ive bought a few electronic devices from dx before, most of em dont work properly or are made of a very poor quality that they die within a month.

my bluetooth dongle had a mini cd containing the drivers which had the plastic protection melted onto it, making it useless. needless to say, there was alot of time wasted trying to get it to work.

the usb infrared adaptor worked for a month and then decided to stop, likewise with the usb card reader.

the remote control ive bought to control my media player looked great and was light. it did the job but there was no way to define the functionality of the buttons. the red button shut down the computer every time =\

tv tuner came with cables which didnt work most of the time unless they were twisted in a certain position.

there are a few other things i've bought which were ok such as:

    • mosquito repellant wristband device (no idea if it even worked, battery keeps dying)
    • zip ties
    • spiderman car figurine (no longer for sale, im still after another one!)

although i dont think i'll be buying anything electronic from them ever again

Why did you keep ordering from them?

      • it was a massive splurge when i first discovered the site.
items took a while to come through, so i bought more while they were in transit…
        =\

oh yeah, i got the wii compontent cables from them too
        that still works fine

ive bought a few electronic things from DX: 2 Xbox 360 controllers, said Bluetooth dongle, a TV antenna and all worked fine. I bought a cheap (around $5) Wii component cable, which had a green tint on the screen. I sent photos and a support request, they told me to look at the forum, which didn't help, and when I told them that they sent me a new one absolutely free. I didn't have to send the other back. Very good IMHO

  • Great to see that someone reported it to work under Linux. I am going to buy one for my old Eee PC running Debian 5.

  • looks liek the same on i bought from msy for 12 bux! i think it actually is the one…man ripped. only just bought it too
