After virgin purchased 60% of tiger the sales prices not as good.

What happen to $9 flights or even the $19 ones?

Virgin has taken the bite out of tiger.

    • Those deals will still come, however as the airline takes losses on those seats I'm sure you understand why they don't do them very often.

  • this is dodgy. i looked at Bris->Syd fares with Tiger about 2 weeks ago for end of Jan 2014. At that time they were $50pp all flights any day. this 'sale' has them 'on special' for $60 and only for M->Thurs.

  • Tip for avoiding the credit card booking fee - Woolworths prepaid MasterCard works.

I don't have an Australian-issued MasterCard debit card but still avoiding the $8.50 per fare. $34 for two return flights, it adds up.
