    Does anyone know whether there are any other ways to record IP cameras instead of having a PC turned on or using this Netowrk Recorder? Can a router that can attach a USB drive do the job?

      Some have the ability to record directly to micro SD directly in the cam, also there are various cloud based recording options.

      The Logitech cameras can record to an SD card, as well as being able to record to a PC.
