  If this is series 5 - 50 inches. I got this in Harvey Norman City West store for $1900 3 weeks ago. Brand new stock, not floor stock or display unit. Ask for that price, they will do it.

  I do not feel this is a good bargain… Many people can get the Panasonic equvilant 50" (better quality) for around $1700… I personally bought the panasonic 50" for even less again about 10 months ago… (benefits of having friends in the right place) :)

    Tuhan, are you sure you bought a 1080p (1920x1080 True HD resolution) Panasonic Plasma for less than $1700 10 months ago ?

    I thought only the normal HD (1366 x 768) models were even remotely close to that cheap almost a year ago.. I could be wrong though.
