Usually priced at $240 and just dropped to 179.95 from black Friday, no idea when the price will go back or will stay as this price. It's universally considered as one of the top 5 best active noise cancelling headphones. Its sound is better than QC15 although NC function is not as good as QC15. I would say it's the chosen one if your budget is around $200 range.

    aesthetics ;) but as OP said
    Sound quality: HK NC > QC15
    Noise cancellation: QC15 > HK NC

    Take your pick

      absolutely and HK NC is $100 cheaper than QC15, which makes it a really really attractive deal.

    No significant difference in the term of isolation. Surely the look is controversial. This old-school squared headphones is pretty stylish and outstanding IMO; might be not for those modern taste people though.

  The USB-rechargeable NC headphones have a battery that lasts up to 40 hours. Even when the battery dies, the headphones will still work when connected by the supplied bypass cable to a playback device.

  Bose can't do that!

  Thanks OP, been after NC headphones for sometime and this is about the right price point that I was considering. I just purchased it and cant wait for it to arrive to try it.
