The Hotel Windsor is across the street from Parliament in the heart of the city (great location). The Hotel Windsor was built in 1883 and is one of Australia’s most cherished grand hotels of the Victorian Era. Have been there for high tea a few times and have been to the rooms a couple times. These prices are very good.

Fantastic rate for this hotel; great location.

  • Which Foxtel package do you get for this price?

IMO, this hotel is pretty crap… requires a much needed refresh as it was definitely a little tired when I stayed there earlier in the year. Had breakfast there one morning too and wouldn't recommend that either!

It's a 130 year old hotel so it has that old hotel feel. I wouldn't call it crap but perhaps not as modern facilities as the Grand Hyatt, Hiltons. However at the Hyatt you will be paying around $300. I believe they are doing a bit of renovation on the Windsor but they are restricted by heritage guidelines.

      • It's not the style of hotel I'd typically go for, but the price is right for the location.
