40% off All Digital Radios @JB Hi-Fi Incl Sony XDR-DS21BT Bundle for $112.80 Save $181.20

90

Was in the Chatswood store today and they had all digital radios at 40% off.

They had the Sony XDR-DS21BT Personal Audio System on display, which had a similar bundle deal as posted previously here http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/125961

With the 40% off the total price for the bundle becomes $112.80 including the bonus Sony DAB radio originally ticketed at $96, a saving of $181.20 over the original ticketed price for both items ($198 + $96).

There are other bargains in this discount category but this one stood out for me because of the bundle. Thought it warranted a separate post because it applies to other digital radios.

Sorry I couldn't find out when this special ends.

EDIT: added link to item for clarity (currently shows discounted price as $112.80)

The webpage doesn't mention the bundle but in-store its displayed as a promo offer.

  • OP, Can you please upload your receipt for the Sony DAB+ Dock XDR-DS16iPN bundle $112.80. JB website still shows $148. Thanks

  • Thanks. Would have missed out. Will go tomorrow to get it. Shows up as $112.80 on website. Good one.

    • Are we talking about Sony DAB+ Dock XDR-DS16iPN? I could only see $148 on JB website. Do you mind to show me the link to $112.80?

      • Sorry wtfnodeal, my bad for not being clearer. The $112.80 price is not on the DAB+ dock you are thinking of, but for the DAB+ radio/Bluetooth speaker. The link is here, currently showing $112.80

Doesn't say it on the website but at the store its bundled with the DAB+ radio in my photo.

  • I bought the Cord Panorama from JB Chirnside Park, VIC. They had a fully boxed one with a reduced sticker on it for being a ex-demo unit. One sales guy told me the 40% was not applicable to the reduced price but I tried another guy and he said yes and took 40% off the reduced ticket price bringing the price down to $89. Unit is in pristine condition and I am very happy with the radio, it is every bit as good as my expensive Pure Evoke 2s.

Anyway moral of the story is if you see a reduced sticker on a box at JB during the % off sales, try the sales guys and you can get a really good bargain on ex-demo/ex-return units.

    Thanks for the tip.
I just bought this cool little item for the grandmother for Christmas.

for a bargain price of $52.80.
Very groovy and almost exactly what I was after - the only way it could have been better is if it had also had a digital tuner for AM/FM as well as the DAB.

    • I bought this radio for my sister yesterday (meant to post about it but didn't have time). My sister had pointed it out a few months ago and I'd almost bought it a couple weeks ago when it was on sale for $88. It is still $124 at Dick Smith, sale prices at different retailers have been around $90 at best so $52 is an absolute bargain!
