  I cannot find any near that price? Are they return prices? Which dates did you enter? The advertisement on the home page won't even let me click it and don't even show dates… :(

  It's a return trip - I just checked MEL-SIN costs $ 690 departing 14/02 - arriving 17/02. It might worth your time to check other destination as well. I remember someone mentioned about this SQ sale in Whirpool, MEL -HK around $ 660.

  Its return price, I entered 22/2/14 returning 28/2/14 & got $635.78. If you don't want to book online, take it into any travel agent & they'll either match it or beat it.

  Sydney to HKG = $647.96 return
  Used the dates 28/02/14 to 21/03/14 as an example. Looks like a very good price.

  … just did some research and found adl-sin (28/02 - 21/03) on qantas for euro 389 (around $585) on travelgenio.de (website is in german, but navigation is easy enough)
  unfortunately this is via mel and takes 11,5h each way, but then this also gives you more (status) miles.

  it always pays off to check international sites… ;))

  You all should note that most discounted flights fall into the overnight transit. Transit hotel in SG is about $80 every 6 hour block. Price that it and it foesn't look such a sweet deal anymore.

  Yes I know there is free resting area in SG airport, just pointing out that so much time and effort needed for the discount.

  Oh don't even thing about going out to city for a drink as this is non stop over price.

  I wonder is there something you can so over night in the airport apart from sleeping and play with your ipad??

    the flight from adl to sing gets to SNG bout 5pm, then you get on the connecting flight to HK at about 8pm, so you don't have to stay overnight in SNG
