  • inb4 whinging begins about RRP - We do not set them.

    • +2

You do not set them, even though it's displayed as "Our Price: $399.00"???? That just makes it even worse…

You do know it's illegal to advertise savings against a certain price if the product isn't ever actually sold at that price?

      • +2

        errr its $10

you spend more than that on lunch

do you guys allow pickup, you're not far from me

        • +2

I'm not complaining about the price they're selling for, but suggesting that it's a $390 saving is extremely misleading, and on this site I see no problem with making retailers account for misleading practices.

And as above, it's not just misleading, it's illegal to advertise it as a saving if it's not normally sold at that price, regardless of who actually sets the RRP.

        • You think that is misleading? check it out here! http://www.thesimplebedroomfurniturestore.com/p-10267-nexus-…

edit: don't mistake me that I am trying to support misleading price ;)

        • tonyjzx, there is an option for pickup when you checkout!

        • yes we do

        • In Australia, RRP stands for Ridiculous Retails Price. So you can put any number you can think of as RRP. It doesn't matter you'll never ever sell a single item for that price.

      • From the pricing on their other stands, I would not be surprised if they did sell this for $399.

      • -3

I wonder what would happen if the shoe was on the other foot… For EG if the RRP or our price was $1 and we were selling it for $9.99 on this same product. I am sure you would think the RRP is the best thing since sliced bread.

        • +2

No, we'd tell you it's not a bargain, but at least it wouldn't be misleading.

        • No we wouldn't

We would look to your competitors for pricing more line with the RRP all while laughing at your business practices and taking bets on when exactly you guys go belly up.

But you quite proudly display them.

      "inb4 whinging begins about RRP"

Wow… was tempted to buy but just wow. What a dick.

      • It just happens very time they post so i think its fair enough…. specialty Hi-Fi/AV stores always have products with a very high RRP… gives them plenty of room to discount and still make some money.

Hi REP ordered 1 in cart but showing up as $16 delivery?

    • will fix asap

      • +1

thanks, REP all sort ordered and paid for 1 my fault had 2 in cart GREED almost got the better of me then voice of an angel told me to put 1 back so another OZbargainer could give the credit card a workout cheers.

  • Found this by a bit of Google Cache snooping

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache%3Awww.v…

Seems VideoPro and most other places have stopped stocking them… seems to have OK reviews though and a stellar price (and pretty good shipping)… might have to bite the bullet and get one!

  • +1

never let a bad comment overide a good bargain!

Does anyone know how good is the quality? for $20 bucks delivered, it looks a good buy to me (videopro had them for $45) http://www.videopro.com.au/vproadmin1/upload-product-documen…

  • Should I buy guys?

I need a mount for my 32" Sony TV, I'm currently building a new house and had the builders install extra noggings in the wall to help support a tv being mounted into a wall, reckon this is worth it?

  • I got excited, this would have been handy.

    But I've a 46" and it's not the new-age ultra thin lcd's :(

    • wow you're going to let 6 inches stop you from a bargain? SHAME!

      • +1

Hey, 6 inches is a lot to some people………

    • If you didn't get that excited in the first place, you should have been alright - me thinking!

  • sold out!

feels like I have been shopping catchoftheday! had one in my cart, but could not complete the transaction!

  • Wow, out of stock already!

  • Black is also out of stock?

    • try again

      • done - thanks!

        • Still sold out for me.

    • Dont think black was in stock in first place only silver.

  • Rep,

Please have a look at my order,

    Date: Order#:
    10/12/2013 3569

In the shipping first line it had 1989 for some odd reason, can you remove that? it has nothing to do with my shipping address :)

    • +1

      done

      • Cheers, :) when should we be expecting delivery :D

  • Rep, is it out of stock? Couldn't place a order with the black one.

    • looks like the site is reporting sold out on black as well as silver

      • yeah, 10 bucks is worth a try. the image looks pretty sturdy too. bummer

  • Rep. Please expire the deal if you have none left.

  • Yes looks like all sold out.

  • I'm getting: "Sorry, the following item is currently out of stock: Nexus by AVF NXL604 - 14" to 40" Infinity Multi Position Swivel & Tilt LCD Wall Mount"

  • Hey Rep, any chance of getting in a similar product for a 50" TV any time soon?

  • +1

    Anyone get there's yet ?

    • +1

Just came on to see the same, the website says mine is still marked as Status: Processing

I was hoping to have it here by xmas, guess that's not happening

    • +1

I havent got it yet either!
hhmm 100% i purchased this but now cant find any record of it on site or my bank acc :(
      must have been half asleep.

  • Got my today…. looks like top of the line stuff… box is massive and weighs 15kgs I recon

    • got mine too but i picked up from their shop

two guys working there were nice and they too were surprised at the size of it

it weighs more than the LCD I wanted to use (a Panasonic 32")

  • -1

Wankers. Ignored my emails asking why it's taking so long, and today just get a Paypal refund notification with no apology or explanation.

    • ?

    • +4

Perhaps it had something to do with the use of profanity when you placed your online order which not only increases your fraud score automatically but guaranteed that your order will be cancelled. Who did you think was processing the order? Robots?
Tip for next time. Don't write "F**K OFF" in the order comments if you want your order to be processed.

Everyone else's order was dispatched last Friday. Thanks for the support.

      • Wasn't in comments, it was in the Phone Number field after trying to submit it empty. You don't need my phone number for a deliver so yeah, "F**K OFF".

        • They would need it for the delivery company, TNT delivered mine it didn't just get posted by Australia Post.. I'm actually glad that the OP rejected your order.

  • I got mine today and it looks like a huge bargain for $20. It is really heavy and seems very well built. Easily worth $150-$200.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like it will fit my TV (400x400mm vesa). Does anyone have any ideas for mounting it to a full 400mm vesa TV? It seems to only do a 400x200mm TV.

  • Great deal! Arrived on Tuesday :D
