    Quick question..

    Sony vaio care… would that be international warranty by any chance because I am going overseas to work and since ACL really only helps if you're in Australia I was looking at getting a extension of warranty on my Vaio pro at Japan.

    Especially considering everything is unibody and all.

    I couldn't find a concrete answer on Google bleh.. sony site only stated that their standard first year warranty is local but not the care plan

      Unfortunately - The Sony extended warranty does not cover International warranty

      Always use us as your first point of contact if you believe the issue is a DOA (failure of hardware within first 7 days). If it is a known issue/bug that could affect you but not others - you should still come to us first, and our support team will advice the next step.

          Not sure about the batches but we've got someone here owning this Vaio Pro and it worked flawlessly atm and we've sold them for a while now. Unless our customer has contacted Sony directly, we've receive no complain on them so far.

          As for the stock for current promo - all gone and won't have more coming today.

          Hi, I received the notebook today . It does have wifi problem , even it is just 6 or 7 metres away from the router and no walls between . I will keep an eye on it this weekend , may need exchange another one .

    With regards to Notebooks, it would be very useful if we could filter by screen size/resolution, processor generation/type and RAM. 550 laptops are really hard to search through to find ones of interest.

    Sorry if this functionality already exists and I just cant find it :S.

    Does anyone think that the 3 year extended warranty for the pro 13 is a good idea? I'm thinking of purchasing it. Shouldn't ACL cover the laptop for a "reasonable period"?

    On the contrary, wifi is stable after upgrade to Windows 8.1, and I also upgraded wifi and bluetooth high speed drivers via Sony Vaio Update.

    Bit disapointed with the '$200' voucher. Everything there I downloaded without using the code that came with the device, so I cant see why that was advertised as you could get it anyway. And no way is it $200 of value, more like $50 at the most. Especially annoying as I bought it when the rep stated it could be used on psn. As for the tablet itself its pretty sweet.
