  • They also have the Logitech Harmony Ultimate remote for $279 which seems pretty cheap.

They also have the G710 Mechanical keyboard for $120 which is the lowest I've seen it for a while. I have one and highly recommend it.

Edit: Sorry I didn't see that you put it in the description. Although your price for the G710 is not right, you should change it to $120.

    • I bought one and returned it. The red switches don't suit me well. I think I'd prefer a black or clear. There aren't many black or clear keyboards with shortcut or macro keys though.

      • they are brown switches >.>

        • Oops, I remembered the color wrongly. I prefer something with higher actuation force, like maybe black or clear. Brown (and red) are both 45g.

        • Wot, reds have no feel-able actuation point. Browns are just quieter blues essentially.

        • Actuation force, not actuation point. i.e. how hard you have to press for the key to move down.

  • Just ordered the Logitech F710 Wireless GamePad for $34.99 (I'm collecting but pretty sure it also said free delivery was an option).

If you're happy with the G19 which is pretty much identical as far as I can tell, and you have a mate who is interested you can get 2 for $225 delivered from logitechshop:

      I'm assuming you're asking about the G19s?

Think it depends what you primarily do on your computer. If you type heaps, I would say that the blackwidow being mechanical would be more satisfying - I use a mech keyboard for typing and membranes just feel soft and crappy now.

I also struggle to find an actual use of the LCD screen? From what I gather it's primary actual use is to see who's talking during gaming sessions on teamchat - other than that it's mostly pointless, unless for some reason your CPU usage is of vital critical importance to you and you MUST have it right in front of you at all times?

The G710+ though is apparently a great piece from what I've gathered. Mechanical, so typing feels awesome, cherry browns PLUS dampening O rings which reduces the clickty clackty.

Edit: Forgot to mention - for the G19s, a keyboard that requires AC power? Really?

      • I also have no use for the LCD screen yet so I just keep it turned off
I really like the switch that disables the windows key so you don't push it by mistake while playing games

  • Free Delivery on items through the eBay DickSmith store.

    • They have an eBay store? Uh…

  • Also add the G700s mouse into the deal for $75 free delivery. I think I'm beginning to talk myself into getting a G710 keyboard and the G700s mouse :)

  • Picked up a g230 and g440. Both were impressive for the price, even the mousepad.
