        THANK YOU GRAMMAR NAZI.

Well, no. Otherwise I would have criticised your ending the sentence with a preposition.

        • i didnt mean to use all caps.. and touche' my friend.. touche'

        • +6

          Did you mean… touché?

        • -2

          nope LOL

        • +5

          Preeeeetty sure you did.

Also, there shouldn't be an apostrophe in the plural "Costcos".
          ;)

      • +5

'it is' or it's instead of its…
        :)

        • it's gee whizz

        • +1

Since you mentioned it, it's = "it has"…

        What about "2"?

        2 fast 2 furious?

Not a word. It is a numeral/number/digit whatever.

Bought mine from Sydney last weekend. Thought it was a bargain for $30. They had 2 (3?) different colours.

    • Only two at ringwood.
      Bear (brown)
      And
      Dog (light cream)

  • +1

oh I want to buy one, but dont have membership :(
will see if any of my friends has it

    • +7

Yeah I want one just so that I can throw at people around the house.

    • +1

Amex card promo will give you a credit for $60 spend at costco (same as membership cost).
Or you can return your membership for a refund.

      Edit: oops, expired - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/126000

      • Oh I will check about the refund thing, did not know about it.
Is it ok if I use it to buy something and refund it? They will not ask me to return the item?

  • got this last year from toysrus for $19.99

    • +6

Given they are manufactured exclusively for Costco i highly doubt it

      • +2

Chinese don't manufacture anything exclusively :P

        • +2

They are manufactured in USA… see description in Post

        • Please forgive my ignorance, i just assumed that since everything else is these would be made in china also.

  • +3

    Is it soft and smooshy?

    • I would like to know this too.
The Mickey Mouse toy was hard.

      • +6

        • +2

Its soft all over… Its bloody awesome i suspect i may just keep this myself LOL

          foreveralone

        • I want to give this 2 up-votes.

I am going to buy one for myself. Unfortunately, the bear has sold out so I am required to pick the dog.

  • At least you won't spend Christmas alone…

    • +2

That might be the case. It will still be labelled made in USA.

    • some chinese making stuff in america is still going to be labelled Made In USA my friend

  • How much is it usually? Cause my dad just bought one for his grandson and would be gutted if the price just came down!

  • That looks cool! I'd buy one if they had it in Perth

  • +1

      • @jimbobaus you still don't know who your going to give it to?

My staffies would love one of these but I don't think it would last long.

        • +1

My staffie loves it… like a new friend lol

      • doesnt matter how big or small your dog is, but the bear still looks huge.

It's hard to tell the size,

      52" - 4foot 4nches - 132cm - 1.32m

That might explain the lady from the sub continent wheeling 5 of them out the other day.
    Nice price.

  • anyone can buy it for me? i don't have a Costco membership :-(

    • +6

If you were a beautiful girl, a lot of people would be willing to buy it for you.

      • im gonna pay them, even if i was a girl i would be of the high standard, not gonna use myself to get free stuff.
on a serious note i would pay up to $20 to whoever that would buy and deliver this to me. + the $30 of course!

        • Where in Melbourne r you?

        • +1

          Im in Dandenong

        • +4

  • Does it fit in standard cars?

    • +5

Depends what you want to do with it.

      • -1

What does what one wanting to do with it have anything to do with fitting it into a standard car?

        • +3

Do you want it to drive the car, or be transported as freight?

        • Absolutely nothing.

This being a soft toy would fit in most cars easily.

  • used to have a panda

    • made in USA not China?

  • +1

I was so impressed by the 90 inches bear, but price was $199.

  • I was very impressed by the HUGE bear that was overflowing the entire trolley! I believe it was sold out though :(

  • I bought the bear a year and a bit ago for $59….. Now they are $29. Bargain!

  • Can these be delivered?
    Any in sydney?

  • Just back from Costco, they have 1 @ Auburn

  • I haven't seen a puppy bear before, are they even exist ?

  • Thanks OP. Just bought one from Ringwood.

I bought the medium brown dog and it seems to be made in China. They have heaps of them left where they are located in the center and couple pallet loads of them extra near the electronics section.

    • Bottom of mine says.. Made and Manufactured in San Francisco

    • i spotted three more Pallet loads at roof level hidden away near main entrance for when the ones they have sell out too

  • No luck, nobody that i know has membership

Ok so here is the deal…
I have now had a few PM's from people wanting me to go grab these for them

I am considering going on Saturday or Sunday and making a special trip to do so.
I drive a 4WD so thankfully i can fit a few in my car.

They are $30 each and i am based in Burwood.

The suggestion was made that $20 additional could be paid to cover my transport charges etc.. i think this is pretty fair if you are located on my side of town.
i am willing to Half this for those wanting to collect the item. (so $40 total if u collect)

I don't really want to spend my Saturday driving all over Melbourne so please be sure to let me know where you are when u message me.
I reserve the right to say no when you tell me where u live.

    There are two options
A dark brown Bear or a light brown/cream dog (as pictured)

I may not have much of a choice on the day i will grab what i can and will try and get preference. You will however need to be willing to accept what i can get, i dont want to go there and have people going.. oh i wanted the bear.. not the dog etc etc.. i will try and get what u ask for but if not you MUST be willing to accept what i can get for you regardless.

I am forking out the money for these items up front so please do not tell me you want one if you plan to change your mind.
Due to their size, i would like to delver them/have them collected ASAP , i work daytimes so evenings would suit.

Please PM me the following if you want me to get you one.

    Name:
Mobile ph number (i will text u)
    Preference
    Pick Up or Delivery
    Your Suburb

I will chek the PM's around midday or Saturday and decide if its worth making a special trip for this purpose.
Otherwise those i have already spoken too i will go when i have a chance.

    Cheers and Thanks

      • never hurts lol

I am also willing to offer this service to people as a Christmas present to OzBargain. I'll apply the same conditions as jimbobaus has listed above. Unfortunately I only drive a sedan, but I'm sure I can still fit a few fluffy passengers.

PM me if I can be of any assistance.

      P.S. Surprise gift included. :)
