Beyond: Two Souls PS3 - $39 @ Target

790

Good price on Beyond: Two Souls, for those who prefer local stock over dealing with Play-Asia.

Play-Asia currently has for $30.83 AUD + shipping (which takes ages from them), so I'd much prefer picking up locally at Target.

P.s This is also my first deal posted so go easy on me :P

No need to go easy, your deal does the talking for you. Welcome to Oz Bargain.

    • This close to Christmas you also need to be a bit realistic about Australia Post too

  • Got mine from play asia (still waiting for it to arrive mind you) so bummed I didn't wait for a local deal.

    Nice find OP.

    • Mine arrived last week from PA, shouldn't be too far off.

Mine arrived from play asia $30. Good game.

  • Thanks OP

Didn't play Asia include shipping at $30?

I know they did with tlou.

    • Thanks for the tip, got mine through play-asia just now.

I'm tempted to neg but, well I guess target are the cheapest local copies.

    Crap…. I paid $68 3 weeks ago

  • Wonder why this game is getting such huge discounts already. Is it bad by any means?

    • +2

I've seen some pretty average reviews for it.

      • I am waiting for my play asia copy, yes there are below scores for this game some state it doesnt feel like a game more a movie. well i love my action movies and a bit of interaction is great. I like the heavy rain story too so cant wait to play it. everyone has different taste i personal never played at FPS since counter strike.

I think it's the sort of 'game' that you'll either like or not, with no middle ground. Hopefully this explains it a little better… http://gamesblip.com/review-BEYONDTWOSOULS.htm

It's by the same guy as Heavy Rain, David Cage.

    • +1

David Cage's games are far from perfect. He tells interesting stories but the gameplay feels like it gets in the way of the story and is only there because it has to be in order to be labeled a game and not a movie. If you're after a gamey game, it's probably not for you.

  • Nice. Haven't touched my ps3 for 2 years but got the game and DisHonored for $68 (DisHonored was $29). But was in a buying mood and thought I'll check out the first deal on page one.

  • Thanks OP. Now if only there was a decent sale on the last of us

There have been many.. last week on Playasia for under $30 USD.

Which parts are censored from aussie version? EU is missing some nudity, US is missing some violence… are we missing both?

    • i think every version is censored in some capacity if i recall right, though you wont remember what was censored if you love this game though…

    • +3

EU cutting nudity and US cutting violence??

      That seems backwards.

    • I heard its only 15 seconds of a cutscene that has been removed so you're not missing much

      • +3

Knowing that 15 seconds has been cut just makes you want to know even more what those 15 seconds were..

It's like a kid being at a mansion and being told they are free to go inside any door they want, except for this one door which is off limits. Which door do you think they will be most interested in opening?

      • I've looked it up just now and I read that it's only 2 scenes have a camera angle adjusted.

  • Battlefield 4 on PS3 and Xbox 360 for $59 seems reasonable as well.

Got this on the Play-Asia deal a few weeks ago
Bought 9 items in total, some on 1-2 weeks delivery, all items delivered inside 2 weeks

  • +1

Why has this game lost its price so quickly? (Not complaining just curious)

  • +1

    Good deal - it's $44 at JB.

  • got one yesterday =]

  • $37.99 @ Costco.

If you have a membership it's a pretty decent price.
