  • ebay listing doesnt state 24 awg

    • Sorry we haven't got time to change that. We have sold out all the 26 AWG ones. The new ones are 24AWG.

  • +3

Hi rep glad your back! I'm enjoying the 3m cable I got and think the quality's great (so far only time will tell). But other people in past thread seems to have quality issues with the 1m and 2m cables and in the other recent sale you stated (14 hours ago) "Good news. The 1m and 2m cables are back. (improved connector quality)" So does this mean all the connector issues of the previous set/stock have been sorted out?

Hope to hear from you on this matter! and if it's all sorted out place some more orders too!

Edit oh and on the previous commenters asked "Do the ones we ordered before have the improved connector?" So do the cables we've ordered previously have the same connectors as this new lot or a new better one?

    • +1

So do the cables we've ordered previously have the same connectors as this new lot or a new better one?

I'd 95% say that they are the old ones else they wouldn't have stated 'old stock old price', but you never know about that 5%. If there aren't enough old stock to fulfill then new stock will have to be sent. You may be the lucky one…

      • ah yeah didn't even see the old stock old price signage there.
did notice the tiny price bump for the 1m ones.

So rep the 1m ones have a better quality connector now?

        • The 1m one is now 24AWG instead of 26AWG. The copper has also upgraded to a better one. This means this cable will bring you the same result as the real genuine branded ones which sell for $10+ out there. Same result means same speed, same durability.

        • +1

So any 2m/3m 24AWG coming soon?

        • Any answer to this rep?

    • +2

The old cables are generally fine but only 1 in 100 complained about the connector issue. The connectors are usually sticking to the cable very well. When it doesn't, contact us we will give you a replacement. 100% safe buying from us.

Improved connector means that the cable and connector are sticking so well that you will need to be very strong to put them off on purpose. Again, if any problem, contact us we will give you a free of charge solution.

      • +1

Wow thats great to see you stand by your product and offer a replacement if we have issues thanks!

  • Thanks rep. Impulse bought a few cables.

  • Got some more cables thanks

  • grabbed a few as well

  • +2

Do you carry 2m lightning cables ?

  • Thanks OP. Bought 3x 3m

  • Hi Rep,

I brought 2 items from your last deal(3 meter cable and 6600mAh power bank), I have deposit $3.45 and $30 into your bank account but the ANZ bank teller told I can't use alphabets as a reference and only numbers are allow so I can't use my Ebay ID as a reference so I use numbers only.

I have send you 2 emails about this via Ebay message with no response from you. can you please look into this.

I can provide you my Ebay ID if you need it.

    thanks

    • No problem. We are able to locate your payment. We have also replied to your email message for confirmation. Your item will be shipped today.

      regards,

    • use the letters as if they were numbers on a mobile phone and leave a note that says so.

  • Hi rep,

I bought one 2m and 3m in your previous deal.

I'm using Note2 and use the app called Galaxy Charging Current to measure the mA the cable can deliver.

For the 2m one, the power keeps delivering stably at 1100mA. About the 3m one, it's only 900mA.

I'm using Samsung genuine wall adapter. Any wrong with this why the power cannot reach its maximum of 2A with your cable?

(I tested with Samsung genuine USB cable
    It can deliver 1700mA)

    • Longer the cable, greater the electrical current loss = slower charging.

The genuine ones are generally 1m or 1.5m, so 1700mAh seems normal.

      • Thanks. I understood this matter. However, as Some people did calculation and pointed out in the previous deals that 2m cable would probably not get affected and the loss of current is minor. The cable should be able to deliver approx 2A.

I'm not really sure about their conclusion. :)

Do you mean from this thread?

          @1.3A:

          2M 26AWG = 4.3V which is under spec

Did someone else say a 2m 26AWG cable can deliver 2A at 5V?

I'm not really sure about their conclusion. :)

          The conclusion was:

If you want a rapid 1.3A charge at 2m, you need at least a 24AWG cable. I'd go for 22AWG to be safe, taking into account connector resistance.

          (so for 3m, 24AWG definitely isn't enough)

        • cough
          I'll just leave this here:
          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/122535#comment-1683454

          TL;DR:
          For 26 AWG cable:
          1m @ 1.3A = Meets 10% (0.5V) Vdrop USB limit.
          1m @ 2A = Meets 10% (0.5V) Vdrop USB limit.

          2m @ 1.3A = Meets 10% (0.5V) Vdrop USB limit.
          2m @ 2A = Does not meet 10% (0.5V) Vdrop USB limit.

          3m @ 1.3A = Does not meet 10% (0.5V) Vdrop USB limit.
          3m @ 2A = Does not meet 10% (0.5V) Vdrop USB limit.

        • use the app called Galaxy Charging Current to measure the mA the cable can deliver.

admittedly i didnt look where this app gets its stats from but it might only be showing the amps going into the battery which would be much lower than whats actually getting to the device. my note takes up most of 1A just to run when the screen is on making the battery charge extremely slowly

        • I'll just leave this here:

You only calculated the resistance for one of the two power wires - you also have to include the resistance of the return wire. i.e. a 1m cable has 2m of power wire.

That means the voltage drop is double of what you calculated for all lengths.

    Hi Rep,

Can you do a deal on the HDMI cables please

    Thanks

  • +1

Awesome! Now all you need are 24AWG 2m and 3m cables.

  • Any deals possible on the "Genuine Tikbro iPhone 4 4S Cable"?

  • Hi Rep, I still havent received my cable from the last deal? Any chance you could look into it for me?

    • No problem. Please contact us on ebay so we can track your order.

      thanks

    • Thanks, I just left a message through eBay. It would be great if you could take a look now as I dont want to wait until after Xmas.

      • I received my cables from the last sale two days ago, so maybe it's going to show up anytime?

        • Mine arrived yesterday :-)

  • +1

    Hey Rep,

One of the cables I purchased in October does not click in/attach to my device, is this still under warranty?

    • Yes please contact us on ebay so we can track your order.

      regards,

    • I have the same issue as mentioned in one of their previous posts..

  • Just ordered 5 cables, I really hope to get some nice quality USB cables, so sick of cheap nasty thin stuff.

  • +2

Hey, Rep, with the power banks, can you draw power off them as you charge them? Im thinking of using one as a cheap UPS for my raspberry Pi.

  • I'm one of the 99% successful buyers in the previous deal. Too bad I missed this deal otherwise I'll buy the 24awg cable.

  • +2

wow just received 2x 1m 24awg cables and they SUCK big time, they are worse than their previous 1m cable, not sure why i bought another 2 thinking they would be better. cant even deliver regular charge to my phone.

    • That's surprising. How do they suck?

The metal plug bit on my pre-update 2m cable just got pulled out a bit today after I accidentally jerked the cable. Seems a bit weak compared to my regular cables.

    • I received mine today as well and have ordered some 1M 26awg ones before. Haven't tried the new ones yet but they look noticeably thinner than the 26awg and have no info printed on the cable so can't even look at the specs. I was under the impression that 24awg would be a thicker cable compared to the 26awg.

      • I concur - these new ones look thinner than any cable I've had before. No idea on actual charge delivered to my phone.

    • Same here, I made the same type of comment before I read your one. This seller is never getting business from me again. I feel ripped off.

    • Hi, this is the tibkro rep.

We would like to get more information from you.

You said "cant even deliver regular charge to my phone"

Can you tell us more? 2 of the cables you bought have the same issue? Is the charging speed slower or does it stop charging?

We would like to get your valuable feedback so we can improve on them.

Moreover, you may return the items for a refund. Just contact us on ebay.

      regards,

      bulksales

      • my phone measures the mA being delivered to it, both cables wouldnt deliver enough current to charge the phone, over 1m.

i'm retesting now to check and mae sure it wasnt the charger or phone.

  • +1

VERY DISAPPOINTED! My order arrived today for some 1M USB cables, they are SO thin compared to other ones I have ordered form this seller. I will NOT be buying from this seller again. They may well be the new ones (part No. 800-0118) but at least by looks they seem inferior to the previous 1M ones from the same seller. They are NOT worth what I paid for them. I really doubt if they are AWG 24 or 26 (as stated 24 above but 26 on ebay) either way they are very thin, no better then the cheapest on eBay/Meritline.

    • They are made to be thinner but they are more duarable than the old one. The copper is better and it has 24 awg for real. Try break the cable apart If you doubt the quality. Charge your device using the cable you should be able to test the speed different. Let us know if you have any problem with it.

      • I haven't tried them but someone already has:
        "berserkk on 19/12/2013 - 18:34
… cant even deliver regular charge to my phone."

"Try break the cable apart If you doubt the quality.":
If I do break will you replace it (with a better one)?

        • We would appreciate if you can try them first.

Your feedback is important to us.

          Moreover,

"Try break the cable apart If you doubt the quality.":
If I do break will you replace it (with a better one)?

Just pull with your hand (don't use any tool of course)

If they are easily break, we will surely send you a replacement.

    • I agree with you completely. The cables also have no marking of ratings either. I doubt they are the stated ratings as well. I also bought the 6.6 Ah power bank, and the included cable instantly broke the first time I plugged, and unplugged it…

  • Not impressed. Still not received.

Item marked as shipped Tuesday afternoon. Now Friday eve.
I'm in Melbourne, the seller / item is in Melbourne so..
How come they haven't arrived yet?

People in Sydney are already getting them?

Rep: you shouldn't mark as shipped unless you've actually posted the item!

Every thing else I buy from Melbourne always arrives quicker than this, regardless of Xmas!

    • Please contact us on eBay if you haven't received your item. We would never fake sending anything. Please note that it is the auspost's delay cos they have too much work on Xmas.

      • Which is exactly why I said "regardless of Xmas" because I knew you would try and use that poor excuse at this time of year.

I ordered something else online this week it was posted from melb Wednesday and I received it Thurs, via regular AusPost.

Did AusPost actually tell you "we have too much work on & can't deliver your business products to customers" -

I sincerely doubt that. It's just something you made up as a poor excuse.

        • I ordered something else online this week it was posted from melb Wednesday and I received it Thurs, via regular AusPost.

To be fair that is the exception rather than the rule. I have never ever had a regular parcel get delivered overnight, interstate.

Christmas is Australia Post's busiest time of the year - they themselves say it - so I really wouldn't be surprised if there were delays.

        • OK, your experience is different.

I have never had any delays with AusPost from Melb to Melb - regular shipping (eg not express). It's either the next day or the day after REGARDLESS of xmas.

Saying it's xmas & blaming AP is a copout.

Auspost work around the clock and on weekends and put LOADS more people on to deal with the volume:

Australia Post Xmas Casual Jobs 2013
          Copy/paste from Facebook:

Well, it's that time of year again…

If you or somebody you know would be interested in working as a Christmas Casual for Australia Post for this coming Christmas, now is the time to apply online. It's generally popular with young people, though we often get a few older ones too.

Some inside knowledge you need to know first:
          - It's a fairly easy, unskilled job, generally in comfortable, clean, air-conditioned surroundings. You will be assisting the regular employees in movement of mail around facilities, et cetera.
          - The money isn't brilliant, but see last point.
          - The jobs are generally in capital city metro areas.
          - If you want to have a chance of success, you'll need to be able to work any shift, and indicate this when you apply.
          - The majority of shifts are evening or night, and getting home via public transport might be an issue.
          - The length of employment varies, but is generally a month or two.
          - To avoid disappointment, please don't think of this as a stepping stone to permanent employment. However, if you are accepted and work well, you will be considered favourably for following years.
          - Good luck!

Auspost work around the clock and on weekends and put LOADS more people on to deal with the volume:

That's because … they anticipate delays. If your local post office wasn't able to hire enough people, your package might get there but it might sit there until it can be delivered to you.

You said people in Sydney are already getting them while you haven't. I don't think the OP would specifically delay posting yours. I've had strange Australia post delays before, this could be one of them.

        • You are certainly on a mission to support the OP, defending them every chance you get (not just my comments but others here too) do you have some vested interest in this business? If you do, you should be clicking the Associated Box.

And no, I don't have any affiliation with AusPost - just sick of people blaming them without any proof.

Yes I have also had bad experiences / delays / lost items with AusPost, never at Xmas time and never locally (melb), as I said.

        • You are certainly on a mission to support the OP, defending them every chance you get (not just my comments but others here too) do you have some vested interest in this business? If you do, you should be clicking the Associated Box.

Before typing out smart comments, you should read my posts again. Several times I have called out their "2A" claims saying it is not possible to get a 2A fast charge with a 26AWG cable - both in this deal and the last deal. I also complained about connector quality.

And no, I don't have any affiliation with AusPost - just sick of people blaming them without any proof.

Do you have proof that it isn't an AusPost delay?

          No?

Then you're in the same boat aren't you?

All I'm saying is that Xmas being the busiest time of the year for AusPost, I won't be surprised if there are delays.

Just because you've never experienced a delay before doesn't mean you will never, ever experience an AusPost delay in your lifetime.

    • i got mine in <2 days

  • Going to vote neg as well. My 1m apparently 24awg cable only gives me 1560amps where as I get 1900 using my original. Really happy with my last 2m order but really disappointed by this newer better 1m cable.

Edit: can't figure out how to neg my vote ; ( also aus post must be snowed under, my order took nearly a week. Previously it would arrive next day as I'm in melb.

    • If you already voted positive (like I originally did) all you can do is Revoke that, meaning you can't change it to negative (unfortunately).

      • Thanks for the info. Looks like there are many unhappy customers. I'm going to leave negative feedback on ebay aswell.

        • If you are not happy with the quality, please return it for a full refund. No postage required for return.
Please contact us on ebay for more information.

        • Thanks for the offer rep. I won't bother with the refund, it's only a couple of $$. I've had many successful transactions with you previously and they have all been positive so hopefully this is a one off supplier quality issue.

    • As a reference, my previously purchased 2M 26AWG rated Tikbro cable delivers 1480mA. I was expecting this shorter higher rated cable to deliver better than an 80mA difference.

      • What device are you using it with? There's a limit to how much current devices can use.

  • Hi REP, can you able to give me a deal for 3 cases? 251394943062
