All-in-One Laser Printer Dell B1163w – Only $89 after Trade in
It has got a scanner and it's wireless , you can print from mobile phones and Google cloud print , also comes with document management software Nuance PaperPort14 worth$199 for free …so IMO it's good for 89 bucks after trade in.
How it works: you need to have an old printer in working conditions to trade in.
1. You buy the printer for $139 from http://accessories.ap.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=au&l… or you can choose from the list of Dell printers in https://delltradetosave.com/au/trade-to-save/qualifying-prod… , the printer is $139 , still a good price for a laser wireless multifunction.
2. After you receive the new printer and the invoice. You trade in your old printer for $50 , filling the claim online form in https://delltradetosave.com/au/trade-to-save/valuator to get the 50 bucks back you send the trade in printer , and they pay for the shipping cost of the old printer , the trade value is not based on the printer you have but on the printer you buy.
This promo is not valid for WA, NT and TAS.

thanks mate, it seems like a good deal for me. bought one.

  • Good deal. Unfortunately I just bought a cartridge for my inkjet. How long does the promo run?

  • Should I trade in my Dell $9 printer that's running low on ink at the moment?

  • +1

you can trade Dell and non Dell printers, scanners, faxes

  • A pity that none of the printers under $350 support ADF, auto duplex scanning and wireless. I'm itching to replace my old Canon printer that won't allow you to scan if even one of the ink tanks is empty.

I have a canon printer like that - the MX700. For this model, there is a way around it:

      http://mactips.lotsaoxen.com/2011/03/how-to-override-no-ink-…

Obviously you don't have the same model because yours is auto duplex but you might be able to find a way around it as well. I just bought the MX926 because of the auto duplex function from this deal:

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/124764

I googled for scanning without ink but haven't found anything yet so I hope they haven't blocked the get around.

      • Nice one, thanks for the tip shagaroo!

  • Hi, the smallest Dell printer that support DADF (Auto duplex scanning is the B2375dnf (no wireless) , that machine will give you $100 cash back, you might be able to negotiate price with a Dell rep and get the cash back for your Canon.

    • Thanks for the follow up and reply, much appreciated. But that's $500 after cash back for an office-grade (unless I completely missed the boat on LDAP authentication support becoming a necessity in the home) black and white laser printer, overkill for most home users :).

Just my 2 cents on my experience getting the cash back for the Dell 1765nfw printer.

Dell lists the RRP as $376.00, and I am a RACV member so I use www.dell.com.au/racv to get 15% off so it gets down to $319.60. I hope OP had done the same thing as in theory he should have paid only $118.15 before cashback and $68.15 after cashback.

Once the new printer was delivered I then applied for trade and save. I got their initial approval and then printed off a label and pack up my old printer to send it off at post office. So far so good.

Then basically I did not hear from them and I had to end up hassling them through the customer support. They are overall quite prompt in responding, but lack the skills to work out how to put through the fund transfer. The core problem is that it is all done by overseas and they are using Western Union to transfer the money back to your AUD transaction account, so unless you know how to show them how to fill in the specific bits for their fund transfer system (which I worked out eventually but in a hard way), the payment will be stuck for a while coz they couldn't get Western Union to transmit the fund without all the detail fields properly filled on their end.

Overall I'm happy with the price that I paid ($219.60 after cashback for colour wireless laser multifunction without duplexer) but be warned - the cashback will happen but could take a lot longer than how you think.

    • Sounds painful and disorganised.

I miss Dell printers being $11

  • for me it looks like a great promo. who in the market gives you upto $200 for an old printer. Anyway you gor the money thatt is the important thing.

  • You can also save an extra 15% off the Dell price by using our coupon code:

    http://www.powerbuy.com.au/dell-laser-printer-coupons/

    • Dell's conditions state: "This offer cannot be used in conjunction with another promotion or discount."

I've no idea how powerbuy works, but it sounds like using it might void the Dell offer

  • I'm interested in this printer. How much is the replacement cartridges and how long does it usually last. So essentially I buy this printer for $139 and then fill out an online claim form and dell pays for the shipping of my current printer. I currently have an inkjet printer is this printer much faster and easier to print because my printer is very slow.

  • It says you can trade in:

a printer, scanner or fax machine.

I have a Canon LIDE Flatbed Scanner.

Does this qualify for the trade in? — it is a scanner.

  • Hi Jamesvre, sorry tok me long to reply, was on holidays, yes laser printers are faster, easier and more reliable than inkjet, also toner last longer, a replacement toner for this printer in only $64 and gives you about 1500 pages.

  • Hi Proudwanderer, correct the Canon scanner also qualify,
