    Bioshock Infinite says its $19,
    much cheaper at amazon $9.99
    http://www.amazon.com/BioShock-Infinite-Online-Game-Code/dp/…

    • I am confused. I guess what happens would be after I pay amazon they will email me a code that I can activate on steam? This game supports steam play. Thus couldn't understand Amazon separates Mac download (19.99) with PC download (9.99) . Could you please advise ?

  • sweet, will wait for final fantasy series and devil may cry sales

  • Bioshock infinite shows $19.99 whereas the triple pack (all three games) is just $19.00 so much better value!

Got Assetto Corsa, looks like it's gonna shape up to be an awesome PC Racing Sim.

    • Let us know what it's like. It's been on my wishlist for ages now but could never justify the 30-40$ for a game that's still in development.

      • +1

Looks and feels really nice with some graphical glitches.
But no AI yet, so its not overly exciting. But it looks like its gonna be good so I was happy to grab it to support them.
I want something that rivals Forza on my PC.

    • I was thinking the same thing, If it was $20 I would buy it straight away, don't know if I should wait now till after xmas

  • Some of the prices are different:

    Monaco : $2.99 (80% off) or 4-pack for $8.99

So the headline item is more expensive than where you can buy it elsewhere? It seems people are just up voting the existence of a sale, as with the Amazon sale post.

The amazing NGPriest set the standard for this sort of stuff as per his example last year: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/88609

Posting blind without research and still upvoting, not me…

*neg away, I just prefer decent posts where prices have been checked, as per guidelines. Just call me Scrooge McBargain.

Give some examples of which games you are referring to so that it actually becomes constructive criticism… right now all you've done was down voted without actually helping…

At least BumbaT and raptormesh tried to be helpful.

    • Reckon your criticism is poor form - the OP has done his best to inform us of the sale and which game he chose to headline shouldn't mater, you just neg him because he chose the wrong one?
You may be technically making a valid vote, but I hope the community votes with THEIR negs and invalidates it for ourselves - just five more negs to go on the above post.

Sorry but I think your neg is mean

Bioshock Triple pack $14.99 @ Amazon
    Batman AO $20 @ GMG

    • There ya go =) +1

And most of the rest are the same price at Amazon, now they like to price-match each other it seems. However, Amazon has a $5 coupon to be used on the 'Editors Picks' which are unknown at this stage, but that puts Amazon as marginly better value for the same Steam keys.

PS- whoever negged the cheaper prices PM me and I'll personally find you some more expensive options. ;)

    • But Amazon you need a US address. Not everyone has that setup =p

      • Besides which not all games on Steam are on Amazon. The Stanley Parable for example. Papers Please, if another is needed. Monaco.

      • Every time I purchase games from Amazon I live in a Las Vegas hotel. Just copy paste.

      • provide a fake address of use any address you know. they won't send anything to there anyway

      • But Amazon you need a US address. Not everyone has that setup =p

You are missing out on some very good deas if you can't even manage to make a fake US billing address for Amazon acc. It's not hard man!

    • Batman: AO is 24.99 as far as I can tell.

Im hoping these sales are better than the last few, very disappointing

Stanley Parable is great, and at that price a total bargain. I bought it the moment it came out, and would recomend it to anyone who likes quirky adventure games.

My steam library is just of 400 games (397) so if they are decent sales I can see hitting at least 415 with all the cheep indie titles

Steam sales are getting worse and worse… Buy 90% of my steam keys from places like Amazon who don't have Aussie price mark ups

    • +2

I don't think they've changed that much but just that we have already bought most of the games worth buying and the newer ones aren't as enticing. I'm pretty sure newcomers would go on spending sprees as I initially did.

    • BioShock Infinite is a great example of this. The price went up $20 (from $80 -> $100) for the sale, only to get an 80% discount.
So Steam is selling it to us Aussies for $20, but Amazon have it for $10 after a 75% discount.

Hopefully this link: http://www.steamprices.com/au/app/8870/bioshock-infinite will provide the correct information to others as it does to me.

I believe that the price has come back down again, and the discount is now 75% off on Steam, giving the same $20 price tag.

  • The Stanley Parable : $8.99 :-(
    Was hoping it be cheaper

  • Glad I played the Stanley Parable demo first. Might have been sucked into it by the glowing reviews otherwise.

  • Final Fantasy VII is now $4 on steam.
