    Ok, can someone please confirm that this is a sale for today only (or even onwards)?

    I was in Myer the last few days and there was not much in terms of 'bargains'. The link sends me to the generic Myer site and the catalog deal they have is from 11 - 24 Dec. I think the 20% off toys link may be a today only one but not sure.

        The catalogue says the sale starts 26th online & 27th in store. So stores will be closed boxing day.

          Ahh I see. I only check my area in Sydney and all stores and shopping centres are closed boxing day 26th. From what I can tell only selected stores are open boxing day. You will need to check the web site to confirm what stores and shopping centres are open boxing day 2013.

          Not true. For Sydney only CBD and Bondi Junction are open boxing day. All other shops are closed and reopen 27th.

          Actually JV, they don't have Boxing Day in Adelaide, in South Australia it's called Proclamation Day, but is a Public Holiday nonetheless ;-)

          All the other states have Boxing Day, and traditionally only Victorian regulations allow major retailers to open on Boxing Day. NSW only allows major retailers to open on Boxing Day if they are in the CBD or a "tourist" area, but even then not all choose to do so.

          One of the busiest days in the year for EFTPOS transactions

          Since it is "rare" for retailers to open on the 26th of December, EXCEPT in Victoria, it would be hard to see how this could be possible elsewhere :p

    Their selection of menswear that has been reduced is pretty limited, the David Jones sale is much better imo.

    Hopefully The Mens Shop, Asos and The Iconic provide some actual sales tomorrow.

    Their website is a joke. Even before the sales it'd often spit out an error. You'd think a store as big as Myer could get their shit together.

    Surely this is hurting their sales, I've headed over to DJ's for the majority of my retail needs.
