now i am not sure how much i can trust this sales. the page for login and register are both down at the moment………….

You can trust Shopping Express. They are regulars on Oz Bargain and often have these special deals.

I think you need to check your internet connection with your provider. The site is fine. I just log out of my usual account and register a new one in less than 1 minute.

If you dont trust the store that receive the store rep of the year award. Not sure what else you can trust on ozbargain.

      • Well, it might be a temporary thing. It is now working fine for me.

  • A few months ago, I was hoping these would be dropped to 150$ by Christmas but from monitoring the price this isn't likely. Nevertheless, great price since these were selling for 180$+shipping or 182$ at MSY

  • the promotion didnot say anything about free shipping.

    • Free shipping on this item

    • Have another look - "Free Delivery" for this item.

    • my bad, yes, free shipping on this item. Good job, SE

  • Good price. But stock is limited.

  • The sony vaio pro 13 is a nice price too

  • "53% off"
    Hmm, yeah ok.

I'll be interested if they do a sale on the 500GB model.

  • If I don't get one for xmas then definitely buying

  • hmm so yeah
i get this message when i view cart

Sorry. We don't have enough 'MZ-7TE250BW' in stock to fulfill your order. Please change the qty on order in your shopping cart to a lower number and click update. Then try to checkout again.

    • The deal starts on boxing day, also atm they're out of stock… dunno who it will work on boxing day =/

      • Err… not who… it should be how…

According to your Boxing Day Sales you have 20 units available of the HP MicroServer but when I checkout I get this.-

Sorry. We don't have enough '712969-375' in stock to fulfill your order. Please change the qty on order in your shopping cart to a lower number and click update. Then try to checkout again.

(I waited to 3AM exactly and your system never had stock?, I doubt they sold out that quickly and I am very disappointed that I have wasted my time.)

If they truly sold out within less than 1 minute I am sorry and take back what I have said but I doubt this is the case.

Says they got one so I assumed they did sold out.

I'm more disappointed that they didn't foresee this occurring considering how popular this item has been in the past, and the great price they had it for.

          Wow…

          Well that sucks…

I was really looking forward to this too, there is no chance at 9 o'clock then.

I am even happy to pay a little more but I guess there is no point :(

I had the same experience. It is really annoying thinking you've got it, confirming it in Paypal, but then, no sold out. Complete waste of time.

  • Picked up a SanDisk Ultra Plus SSD 128GB for $85 with free delivery. I had to try a few times before it stopped trying to include standard delivery cost.

    Sold out
    :(

EDIT: ♥ you guys @ SE Thanks for the restock.

  • Got one :D Thanks so much Shopping Express, exactly what I needed for a computer upgrade!

  • Got one. Thanks OP

  • Snagged myself a Samsung EVO i think =) sweet!

this is bullcrap, samsung evo sold out in like 20 secs, added than it showed as 178, removed and added again than it showed the right price, but clicking on checkout shows as sold out

    • yeah not a deal really if there is 20 for all Aussies to fight over

  • Revoked my vote as it sold out so quick :-(
Was logged into SE & PayPal ready to go, but the SE website had slowed to a crawl.

    • +1

      Same, revoked here.

  • +6

Any chance of adding a few more to the stock?

    • +1

Was clicking the checkout button once in a while…
'Congratulations - Your Order Has Been Confirmed!'
      Thanks!

  • Cannot even add to cart for me :-(

  • Just saw this post before deal went live and got one :) thanks OP.

    Sold out in literally minutes.
Took a min or two to work out how to get shipping and by the time I checked out I got the message:
Sorry. We don't have enough 'MZ-7TE250BW' in stock to fulfill your order. Please change the qty on order in your shopping cart to a lower number and click update. Then try to checkout again.

20 in stock is disappointing. Maybe 100 next time? Guess I'll have to wait for the next deal.

EDIT: Tried refreshing the shopping cart page and it went through, quickly paid via Paypal and I
received the "Congratulations - Your Order Has Been Confirmed!" message.
So looks like I snagged one! wooooohooooo

There's a restock or something. Just got one now!

  • Try again - I just got one at 12:26hrs. From memory the first time I tried at 12:05hrs it said max 2 per customer but this time just 1 - perhaps a website update was happening?

Anyway, just try once more and you might be lucky

    • I also noticed they changed the max per customer from 2 to 1. Maybe some that tried to order 2 ended up with only 1 and the rest got put back into the pool. Just a guess.

  • I just got 1 now as well @ 12:28

  • I managed to get an EVO SSD in the opening minute. I thought I lost out due to page time-outs. Wanted 2 but can't be greedy :)

Agree with others, there should be more stock available.

  • For those that missed out. Does anyone from Adelaide want to go halves in shipping 2 from Amazon? If so, PM me. Not sure if you have to pay import duties and/or GST. Shows as 2 for $330 delivered from Amazon in my cart.

  • Hi Guys,

How do you get the freeshipping to work? I keep adding it to the cart but keeps adding $8.95 shipping on top..I am trying to purchase the sandisk 128GB SSD for $85 delivered in Sydney.

  • +1

Been refreshing since the deal went active, any plans to add more stock?

  • +4

I can see that 18 out of the 36 items we've offered so far, the 2 that seem to fall short of expectations are (N54l & Samsung 840 256GB SSD).

As we simply don't have much Samsung 840 Evo 256GB SSD for offer, we are adding 50 more of the Sandisk Ultra Plus 256GB SSD at $159 to the existing stock.

At the same time, 50 more units will be available for N54l during the 9pm AEDT time slot. It should still sold out pretty fast base on earlier results but good luck for those that trying.

I have also added 4 special deals for ozbargain below, with prices starting now & till stock runs out:

    Good luck all

    Best Wishes
    SE

    • Nice one. Ordered 2 x WD Red 4TB HDD for $229 each at 21:40 Qld time.

I have to say this has to be one of the worst sales to try to take part in. Was on at 7pm on the dot for the GTX 770 had in cart got to paypal page put in details and while authenticating got a no stock available message. With only 10 cards not too surprised. I am surprised however that they can offer AMD games with an Nvidia cards.

    +1, Tis5.

Tried for the EVO- it's just ridiculous to have AU-wide sales & having a stock of 10, 20, or even 50??? for ALL of AU??

I usually don't even bother trying on these online holiday sales- but, I happened to be interested & at the PC at the exact time- still no dice.

Bleh…I'll just buy one locally, pay a couple of dollars more, & not bother with the aggro.
