    When Optus & Vodafone have Iphone on cap $49, Virgin has LG Renoir on $29, 3 is worried. ^^

      well, the current iphone is not a 3G phone (IMO). maybe that's why its not even available on the online store. Can't MMS or video conference, maybe after "they have with an app for that."

        Heaps phone in three cant do video conference.
        I doubt how many people actually use that feature.
        Plus, it's not 3 dunt wanna iphone.
        It's apple wont allow Three get it.

        MMS I believe is coming in firmware 3.0 which I assume will come at the same time as the 3rd Gen iPhone in what people are predicting to be around three months.

        Anyway I agree with the above in that I'm sure Three would love it but I guess they didn't bid enough for it.

          question is, if you have been using features (MMS, sms fwd, txt cut/paste, music, video conf, xenon flash, 3.2mbpix) on a 'crap' phone for years, and then comes along a product saying its the latest and greatest but hey, you gonna pay twice as much as you previously did and we are not going to give you all the works. shrug

          I call it as it is, 3 having the iphone or not, I don't care if the iphone's future developments, I want the features the moment I paid for the phone.

    Purchased 2 samsung u900 phones on $19 cap wednesday, great phone quality in this price range. Had a current plan(in its final month) with 3 but couldn't get the $19 deal ($39 for current customers)so quit that cap signed up in the missus name and even got a $100 bonus credit for each phone. Three really needs to think about their loyalty program as it is currently rubbish for current customers. Only downside is had to change to new phone numbers as three would not port numbers 3 to 3.
    Anyway if your after good quality phone on a low plan you will not find a better deal than this at the moment

      after you get your new numbers ask them if they will swap your old numbers to the new accounts

        Tried that, no can do. They claim you cannot transfer a number from one contract to another if you are cancelling the older contract(you must purchase new handsets outright).

          Transfer/Port to another provider, then port back. Telstra do a $10 casual no contract plan. $10 is cheap enough to keep ur number :)
