  • Very slow website this morning and can't seem to be able to find the product. Already gone?

  • @Mr Scotty
The deal is on today's herald sun paper . I upload the picture for now but I will modify the link when TGG website back and running.
    Thanks
    Have a nice day

    • Thanks.

  • can't find it at TGG website…. did a search, nothing comes up

  • Is this the model that can still make calls if you lose mains power?

    • Do they existing with cordless phone?

      • yes, some Panasonic, uniden and Telstra units will power from the line if the phone is cradled.

  • Is this locked to telstra? Can i use it with tpg?

    • +1

      Kidding right?
These are cordless phones bro, not mobile phones. Mobile phones dont normally come in bulk packs :)

      • Yeah i am aware they are cordless phones but I was just wobdering if its locked as the title says telstra… So was thinking that it might not work with another network due to bandwith issues etc (i dont know much about that stuff)

        • +1

          No such thing mate :)

The old phone system is analogue. It also has some pretty high voltage running down it for the hardware hacking types, lol.

If you look at any old CORDED phone, you'll see they're all 'telstra rental' phones. Regardless of who your provider is.

  • Almost as cheap as the $10 phones from OW https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/118739

  • Still plenty in stock at TGG Cockburn WA

  • Analogue? Do I have to turn a crank to contact the operator?
Does it come with one of those miniature cassette tapes for the answerphone?

  • Sill not on their site.

  • They did a bait n switch on me at good guys o'connor! Only had 5 units according to staff. Tried to sell me the 100 buck unit instead!
