  • Unfortunately the Q range has never been on sale. I am interested in the Q220 model :(

    • You won't regret it. I have the baby Q via CC altitude points. We use it at least 2x a week. In fact I used it last night for american pork ribs and today for snags. I absolutely love the webber Q :)

Grab it, they're awesome regardless of price and you won't bother with your old Bunnings 4 burner again. :)

As for the trolley, it is a good deal, but it still is a massively ugly plastic POS. (IMO)
I bought a wooden trolley from Ikea and stained it, my Q200 sits perfectly on it and looks so much better for about the same price.

      • Sounds like a good solution for the base. Yeah I just have mine sitting on a custom frame I made originally to stand my old rectangle portable solid fuel webber

      • Good idea. I don't like the plastic look either. Can you remember the ikea model?

Agreed. Got my Q200 on an IKEA Applaro Garden Trolley which was on sale a couple months back for $49.

Looks great and it will hold your 15-20kg gas cylinder no problems. The cart above doesn't look like it can hold a 5kg cylinder let alone your standard 15-20kg one.

        • Yep, that's the one I got too. Appalaro. 2 for $99. As heyimsu says, it holds the cylinder fine. I even had some left over merbau decking planks and with some L brackets added to the trolley to give it a little bit more depth/width (90mm). Stained it all over and it looks like it came that way from Ikea. Much better solution.

It also has little chrome handles to hang your BBQ utensils / tea towel from.

        • Fantastic cheers for link

    • I bought one a few weeks ago at David Jones and they were happy to give me 10% off when I asked if they could do a deal. Combined with the AMEX $50 off for purchases over $250 at DJ's and you're onto a winner!

  • What's so good about these Webers? as opposed to a charcoal bbq (which is supposed to taste the best)

    • I got one recently purely to be used for picnics due to it's portability as I had a big 6 burner for home. Well it is half the size of the six burner but it cooks twice as fast therefore my big 6 burner ended up on gumtree… I use it at home and for picnics… these must be used with lid closed and cook juicy stakes….q100 cooks slightly better than q200….but both are just fantastic…

  • Price match accessories with BCF as well and make full use of the 10% price match— I got the cart, the breakfast plate, roast grill and the cover for $138. About 25% under normal prices. Bargain!
