  • Opened an eSaver account last time through MBC and never got the moneyback because "client cannot check sales record in their system."

    • I also applied last time, the day before it was closed, and got nothing.

      • I also applied last time, complained to MBC and got the response "If its been approved, it should be paid to you in June."

  • I opened one last time and mine's still pending, says due June 2009. But I have been using the account ever since.

  • same here. applied, account already in use , but have not received e cashback yet..

  • same here. nothing so far!

  • Miss last time, will try this one.

  • I'd rather wait for buckscoop to update this deal. There will be no annual fee $10 and NO withdrawal fee to your bank account as with MBC.

    • I think they stopped charging the 20 cents for transferring money into your bank account. They charge a 2% fee which is capped at $1.25 for transferring into Paypal accounts.

  • I just applied. It's my first time at MoneyBackCo. Nothing appeared in transactions indicating it's pending or something similar. Hopefully it will appear in 7 days or sooner.

As I guessed, it's also back at Buckscoop:

I really tire of you constant derision of MBC. If it wasn't for us creating some competition in the market place then these offers would be at best half of what they are on MBC as they were before we started.

You constantly fail to provide the facts, we charge a $10/year membership from earnings and then all moneyback earned from then on is 100% of the commission rate offered from the networks/merchants ALWAYS. The other sites have different business models and they take a proportion of what commission is earned, still upto 50% in some cases, so they don't need to take a membership as they are taking a proportion of earnings every single time you make a transaction.

I think posting a thread from a website which is effectively in competition with OzBargain is bad form to say the least.

If it is your mission to remove MBC from the market place and let other sites slowly increase the proportion of the commission they take well you're going the right way about it.

      Rant over…

      Steve.

      • Have you removed the offer from your site since it now say's expired? Will I still get the money back since I signed up?

  • wtf? expire already within 12 hours? something is not right here ….

  • The buckscoop offer also seems to have disappeared from their website. I'm immensely curious :)

  • The network have told us to stop this offer, even though we received an email telling us that the offer was live again with new budget, they are now saying that we shouldn't have been running it again without prior authorisation and that they will cancel all transactions.

We are in negotiations with them to try and reach a compromise.

I will be contacting all MBC members affected by this directly when we get a resolution. If you didn't get a transaction tracking then you won't unfortunately.

    Steve.

    • I understand what you're saying Steve, and recognise you're in an unfortunate situation.

However you've got to understand that there are people who have held out on opening a BankWest Smart eSaver account because they are waiting for the moneyback to come back before they apply.

While it's not really your fault, but it's still not good enough though.

  • Steve, is there any offer with Bankwest atm?
