Not sure if this is a bargain. I got NAB fixed rate at 4.99% p.a comparison rate, though got it back in Nov 2013. I think the rate still negotiable…

  • from a quick glance isnt UBanks fixed rates better than these?
    One year (comparison)
    4.48% 4.86%
    Three year (comparison)
    4.88% 4.83%

Only difference would be the LVR so if you are >80% you can ignore UBank

    • looks like Resi has unlimited contributions to offset.
I recall ubank is only $10k extra p.a

So Resi better if you can pump more money in

    What's a comparison rate?

    • Google knows, ask them

        What's a Google?

      • That's not a very helpful reply

comparison rate includes all fee's and charges so reflects the true cost of the product versus the headline rate they advertise. Basically means you can compare the rate against other products at glance, without having to factor in all the other hidden fee's.

  • Even just a 5 second search on 'yourmortgage' came up with Aussie 2yr fixed at 4.64% and comparison at 5.03%.
I couldn't be bothered looking further as I already spent enough time researching home loans last year!

  • @Mick123: mind sharing from where it "looks like Resi has unlimited contributions to offset"?

Indeed it would be a good product feature for some if it is true.
