  • I've joined but cannot see the $5 anywhere on the account now?

It specifically says "5 Locos dollars", not real dollars…

      Doesn't locos mean foolish ???

You need to spend $75 before you get your "free" $5…

      • Well weve debated this before. Salsas is $1 for every $15 spent, so this is better already yeah?

So the credit isn't for joining. The title is misleading and should be changed then….

this stuff is so overpriced and bland i am surprised to see so many people in there at lunchtimes

    • far better than that boost juice owned 'salsas' rubbish. absolute garbage.

Go get a chicken avocado (minus black beans) and tell me its rubbish with a straight face. Mexican food generally has consistently improved fast food standards across the board. Grilled has ofcourse also been influential.

        • hahahaha mate you're having a pull if you think that is even close to 'mexican food'.

Mad Mex is pretty awesome, although it's pretty crappy they expect people to blow $75 at a fast food store to get a measly $5 credit.

I think $20, $25 or even $50 would be more appropriate.

    • Given that none of the major fast-food stores have a rewards system at all for their food , it is unusually generous really.

Subway was the only other I could think of, but theirs is gone now too.

    • They already had the buy 10 get one free cards/stamps. I'm guessing that's gone now?

Good point. Old cards still valid?

And i prefer Mexican take away to any other new chain, haters! Go get your styrofoam burgers from Oporto or whereever.

      • They still stamped my old card, but advised that they wouldn't hand out any more once that one was gone.

This doesn't have enough value to be a good deal. The discount is insignificant.

    Furthermore, it isn't a Freebie.

fwiw, Guzman Y Gomez have a loyalty card (they call it Gomex). Much better food than Mad Mex, $10 after spending $150.
